I've tried many Kona Coffees from Hawaii for many years. Some were just OK, others I wouldn't buy again, and then there is this offering. I made my first pot this morning. The mere act of the fantastic aroma as I ground the beans made my mouth water. And the coffee?? It was perfect strength (I used 4 tablespoons in a 12 cup pot), did not bite like so many do, and the after taste was as smooth as the first sip. If you love your coffee, you gotta try this. Fantastic and well worth the price.

This is a fantastic coffee. It's a shame I won't be able to afford this on a regular basis. I preferred it most as a strong cold brew instead of my usual pour over. Mostly because that took off the tiny burnt edge that I feel masked some of the lighter flavors when brewed hot. Next time I'm able to order this I'll try it as an espresso to see if that will also extract the subtleties while keeping more of the punch of the darker roast.

I like to try different flavors and types but I'm not a coffee connoisseur. Flavor was good.

Wonderful coffee. Kona coffee is the Mercedes of coffee’s. Hualalai’s Estate Kona is bold not bitter. Really liked it!

After hearing about the uniqueness and flavor of Kona coffee I expected a little more. Did two different brew methods with similar results. Method 1 was a pour over with meticulous pour intervals and method 2 was Aeropress. The flavor profile I thought was rather bland, it was fairly smooth with a medium strength but a significant lack in flavor. I brewed a cup of Columbian right after and the flavor profile was sensational in comparison to the Kona. Was slightly disappointed in the quality for the price, probably wouldn’t buy again

The beans have a strong rich smell and they brew up fresh and smooth. Very happy with the first pot. Wouldn’t mind it for my day to day but too pricey.
