This little thing is top notch
Not a lot needed to say. It’s a quick release. And it works well. It’s very solidly built and there’s no fear of it releasing unintentionally but it’s really easy to use and very handy. I wish it was cheaper because now I want like 5 of them. I’m still going to buy at least one more though because I don’t think there’s a better product available this easy to use. 5 stars as is and if it was about 6 dollars cheaper I’d give it 7 stars.

SIMPLY SAID, IT DOES THE JOB!
NOT MUCH I CAN SAY. IT DOES THE JOB, IT IS KIND OF HARD TO PUSH DOWN , BUT MAYBE BECAUSE IT IS NEW. I PREFER THAT THAN A FLIMSY LOOSE ITEM, SPECIALLY FOR A GIMBAL WITH CAMERA. FINAL WORD; IT IS GOOD! BUY IT WITH CONFIDENCE ( WISH IT WAS ONLY LIKE $10 OR $15, BUT IS OK ). VERY GOOD .

Not just for your Zhiyun gear!
I ordered two sets of these and now I realize I don't just want but need more of these. You will find that they do not detach easily when they are not connected to anything but that is a good thing because they will not come detached by accident. When they are attached to items, it is not difficult to lift the collar to separate your items. The tension is strong enough that with even the heaviest items it will not fail. Originally I got them for my Zhiyun Weebill S, but now I use them as a quick release for many pieces of my gear. In-fact, the uses are endless and I wish I had originally ordered five sets of them to start. I can't imagine not wanting to add these to you gear kit. I can easily now swap out monitors, gimbals and pieces on a jib or steady cam rig.

Works exremly well
This quick setup kit works well but you really have to buy two which makes it kind of expensive. If they would include two basses in each pack instead of one, I would have given 5 stars.

Alternative to standard rectangular QR plates with some advantages.
The round form factor makes it ideal for my monopod, which doubles as a walking staff when I'm not using it to support my camera. I leave it on and the knurled round grip feels better in my hand than the monopod without it. It's nicely machined anodized aluminum and holds both my Olympus micro four thirds and Canon DSLR/full size lenses securely. I just received my second one.

Solved my problem, great quality and value
I was looking for a quick release camera mount that would let me easily reverse the camera, and took a chance on this one. It feels very solid and well made, and grips the base plate tightly in any of six positions. The measurements in the picture are off, it's actually about 3/4" tall and just under 1 1/2" wide, so quite compact. It solved my need perfectly, as I can now quickly reverse my phone on the tripod to use the front or rear camera, and I'm so happy with the quality and price I may buy some more to easily switch between tripods and mounts.

Very convenient but may not be the best over time.
I bought 5 of these, I use them as component quick release(QR) for my Ronin S. I use a 15in extension pole, a full tripod, and the Ronin tripod base. I use this rig to film live events and use the quick connects to move from tripod to Ronin, or to add or remove the extension rod. My rig weighs about 14 lbs. When I first got them they were very sturdy, after about 4 or 5 months with decent use, the release mechanism has started to become very difficult to release at times. Now I am looking for an alternative, when you push down to release the device, it can get stuck, stuck in the "closed" and in the "open" positions. This is because as you use the top surface of the quick release base that the release plate sits on is the exact thickness as the distance of travel to release the base and can get stuck under the bottom edge of the top surface, see picture. This particular QR I used for about 3 weeks and it started sticking so I replaced it with another one hoping it was just a bad unit, however after 4 or 5 months of use the rest of them are doing the same thing. I might add I only use these for about 4 or 5 hours a day for 2 days a week, not a lot of heavy use in my opinion. Also they feel like they are starting to get a bit wobbly, they aren't as sturdy as they once were.

The question is not: "Should I buy this...."
The question is not if I should buy this it's more of how many of these should I buy because they are too freaking awesome and convenient especially for gimbal setups. If you need a quick release this is my go-to
