Well made book with wonderful recipes. The best book on donuts I have.

Cool donut book. It has more recipes then you can think of and isn’t just yeast donuts with different toppings. There are cake donuts and vegan ones and ones that make you fly!

Since I love to cook and bake, and have made doughnuts in the past, I thought I'd look and see if this book has anything new. Not only does it have what's listed above, but there are also recipes for doughnuts that are gluten-free (although I have to admit I haven't made those). But it's there for those who haven't been able to find recipes before. To tell the truth, yes, it's easier to just go and purchase doughnuts from a store; but you're going to get ones that have tons of preservatives in them and there's no guarantee that you won't find ones that don't taste like what they are - out of a box. While many of these recipes take time and effort, the end result is you're going to get a very nice doughnut indeed with great taste. Recommended.

Can’t wait to try some of these, great variety, easy read. Nothing too complicated. But I’ll revise when I try some!

This book is so beautiful. I read it from cover to cover when it arrived. It's like a coffee-table book it's so pretty. Can't wait to try out the recipes.

Doughnuts by Lara Ferroni is a free NetGalley ebook that I read in early September. A delicious concept, for sure, though I don’t have access to a deep-fat fryer: Ferroni details on how to make different kinds of dough, toppings (like pretty, long, almost chocolate-curl sprinkles), glazes, and premium-flavored doughnuts. It's set against a neutral palette for place settings (usually a tablecloth, granite tabletop, or metal tray), polka-dot chapter headings, and recipe titles in aqua or dark red. My favorite couple of recipes include (omitting the word ‘doughnuts’ for redundancy) banana bread and sweet corn drop.

A wide variety of easy to follow recipes. Purchases for my 7 year old niece. She loves it. Her first batch turned out great!

What a great book. Shows you all of the doughnut recipes as well as the toppings. However, I paid $18.80 for the book and when I received it it had a price tag from a THRIFT STORE THAT SAID $4.99. Buyer beware when you purchase a USED copy of this book.
