Great for channeling water from my mini sump pump.

The length of the hose is great. Saves dragging the vacuum around. The attachments work well, although the bristles of the round brush were too tight and plentiful to work effectively. I ended up trimming a third of the bristles away from the intake. Also, be sure to use the attachments vs the hose end itself as this is soft plastic and wears easily when worked on abrasive surfaces.

This discharge hose worked great for our above ground pool pump backwash and vacuum to waste discharge port. It was a little loose for the 1.25 inch barb, but a quick hose clamp solved this. It directs the water plenty of distance from the pool. If you needed more length, you could always order 2 and couple them together. We had no issues of holes or kinks. Overall, this is a great hose. Oh, and this one comes pre-segmented. So you could cut it to a shorter length if needed.

The product description at this writing is not clear about the diameter of the hose, only that it is "Used for both 1-1/4-Inch and 1-1/2-Inch discharge." This hose is 1 1/4" diameter, with an adapter that immediately steps the discharge down from 1 1/2" to 1 1/4".I purchased 2 of these hoses recently, hoping to use them with my 1/3 hp 6CIA Little Giant pump, which has a 1 1/2" discharge outlet. I use 1 1/2" Sched40 PVC from the discharge outlet to 5 1/2', and then connect to 1 1/2" flexible hose. I know from prior experience that 1 1/4" hose is not adequate for my needs, and so I returned them in exchange for hoses clearly labeled 1 1/2" ID.That said, I have used this product within the past year. I rated it three stars becausea) it is a decent product, and it will be fine for light to moderate dutyb) $17.51?? similar or better quality hoses can be had for half as much moneyc) no adapter is included for connecting 2 hosesd) this product is a step down from the previous hose offerings from Little Giant.

Quick attach with a couple of sizes and a clamp which worked great

This hose & adapter set worked fine for me.I read some reviews that complained that the sizes offered didn't match the discharges of their pumps, and that was true for me, too, but it wasn't an issue. I knew what I needed, and went over to ZORO, got a 1 1/4" to 1" reducer and a 1 1/4" coupling for $11.99 (including shipping, and their shipping is excellent), and had zero trouble.Some other reviewers had a problem with the hose not being straight., or difficult to straighten. For me, less than a minute of flexing (just like copper flex tubing) left me with a fairly straight hose.It did what I wanted. No problems.
