these corks work exactly as described. i've used them to seal three bottles of mead, which have been sitting on their sides for a couple weeks now. there has been no leakage, the corks don't break when uncorked, and i like the design printed on them. i wish the bag was resealable, but i've placed it in a gallon size ziplock to make up for that. would buy again. i've included some images of my mead bottles. because of the corker i used, the tops don't look particularly pretty, but they work just fine. it also might be a bit of user error lol. in case you're interested, i used these corks with this portuguese double lever corker (link below). it says it's meant for #8 corks instead of #9 corks, but they seem compatible and i've had no issues with it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FRWJNE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

These are rather short, once corked they only are about an inch long. Fine for white wines or wines not meant to be aged more than a year.

Compré estos corchos pues no había en existencia de los No.9 con largo 1-3/4, funcionan bien, aunque prefiero los otros más largos, su precio me parece caro (superior a $380), al momento los que usé (35) sellaron todos sin fuga, sólo uno no entró bien pero fue error mío al manejar la máquina corchadora, espero bajen su precio pues los compré únicamente porque el proveedor que me surte normalmente no tenía corchos de este tipo en existencia. Claro los uso para lo que son, para sellar botellas de vino casero principalmente o de otros líquidos, si buscas corchos para manualidades estos no te convienen pues son más difíciles de manejar para esos fines estéticos.
