Excellent stone countertop sealer! I use Tenax Ager on granite countertops about once per year and our kitchen and bathrooms still look like new. This product seems to provide better protection than most of the other common sealers sold through the big-box stores. It's also a favorite of stonemasons and other artists working in stone (personal friends' recommendations). Be sure to follow directions on the label, however! This is a solvent-based wax sealer, so you apply it to a wet state, let it sit for only a couple of minutes, then wipe off any excess and buff. If you allow it to dry completely the surface will be "sticky" and hazy. The solution is easy - just re-apply Ager and wipe it off more quickly so that the wax is in the stone, not on the surface. Expensive, but excellent product!

Did a good sealing job on my quartzite countertop but didn't "enhanced" or make the countertop "look wet" at all.... This is the X product I have tried to make my countertop shiny again but it seems nothing will work around the kitchen sink area.... even after rubbing it first with etch powder. The etch disappeared with another product but the Ager didn't make it shine after. And it's pricy but will be using it again as a sealer

I’ve used this twice now on our honed black granite. This most recent/second time just now, in early January. The previous application was in the summer/June of 2020. Even though indoors I’ll not apply again in the winter. As from my experience the cooler it is, the longer it takes to dry. The initial June application indoor temps were 72-75 degrees and it dried overnight/within 24 hours. This most recent application, indoor temps 66-69 and it’s taken a good 3-4 days ( even though I bumped up the heat). Installed by rag both times. Neither particularly “thick”. Still works wonderfully and truly restores the look of the stone, just better suited for summer time/warm temperature application.

I use this for multi-colored slate and it brings it back to life for 2+ years. If I had a wish not a complaint, it would that it dry faster. My average is California during the summer is 30 hours. Still a great product
