Really good bike rack
Got this for my Suzuki Jimny to carry a single E-MTB, it’s rated to carry two 16kg bikes (total 32kg) so I can only carry one e bike on it as it weighs in at about 24kg, I take the battery off the bike to reduce it by a further 3.5kg to be safe. I use a Yakima top-tube converter as the bike is full suspension. Really easy to fit and remove from the spare wheel and will fold down nicely when not in use and it doesn’t look like an ugly mess like many do when not in use. The bike is really secure with the 3 ratchet straps but I put some additional straps on for my peace of mind.

Well made and easy to use
Can't rate this product highly enough! Didn't even know spare wheel bike racks existed until we were looking for a bike rack for my partner's Landrover Defender. It's a bit too tall for us to easily install a rack on the roof and we didn't want to lose access to the back door by fitting a rack on the tow-bar, so this has turned out to be an ideal solution. It was pretty easy to fit and it feels very robust and secure. Getting the bikes on and off is a breeze and they sit perfectly now that we have bought the accessory bars to compensate for the sloping crossbars on out bikes. I've used bike racks in the past where I have still felt the need to take of a front wheel or tie bikes down with loads of additional strapping - but nothing like that feels necessary with the Yakima.

Waste of time.
Bracket does not fit Defender 2015 spare wheel carrier. Total waste of time. Tried to contact vendor but after 3 weeks still no response.

It works
Arrived in the quoted timescale, and was straight forward to fit. Getting two full Sus bikes on it is difficult depending on the frame design, but hard tails and road bikes work well. Fantastic to be able to open the back door easily with the bikes on.

Its expensive but it just works
I was using another type of spare tire rack before. it was fitted using ratchet straps and started to rust a bit, which concerned me. So I went for this as it mounts through the spare wheel carrier. I have now used it a couple of times and its awesome. It folds away really well and is really secure.

Perfect for 2 bikes!
Great and easy to remove when not in use. Sturdy and simple to use. Great if you have a new Defender or Wrangler.

Does not fit a 2013 Defender
Looks a great piece of kit but sadly it will not fit my Defender’s spare wheel holder

So far, so great. It holds my mountain bike, and my wife's hybrid securely. The bikes swing very little, and with the lock included, I don't worry about it wandering off. Attaching the mount was fairly straight forward, but I had two minor issues. First, the plate that attaches behind the spare tire was difficult to fit over the studs on the spare tire mount. I understand that it needs to fit snugly, but it took a bit more force than I thought it should to get it on. I wonder if it will also be difficult to take off should I ever decide to remove it. Second, there are three different length tongues for the mount. That's great to accommodate different width tires, but the bolt holding it in place was amazingly difficult to get loose. It took an allen tool on the end of a breaker bar, with a piece of pipe slid over that to get enough torque to loosen it. When it broke loose, I thought I had broken the tool. I did purchase some velcro straps to stop the front wheels from spinning.

Per quello che costa sembra ottimo... spero di non avere problemi ... l'ho montato su nuovo Suzuki Jimmy, tutto ok anche se quando è carico evito il più possibile di aprire il portellone per non gravare troppo sulle cerniere
