13" Hoof Tester Veterinary Hoof Care Medical Diagnostic Horse Doctor

I got this horse hoof tester to have on hand when I got my horses. I never had a need for it until one of my horses went lame. I was able to try it out, & she reacted to it when I used it on her & on her back left foot. I had the vet out, & he did the same thing. Found out that she had an abscess in her back left hoof! It is made well & good quality. I would recommend any horse owner to have this one hand.

Work great. Good for average sized horse hooves. Dont slip. Good thing to have handy!

These are easy to use and I can close them with my small feminine hands. They are fairly light-weight and do the trick. Having the testers allows me to identify if my horse's lameness is just a stone bruise or more serious like an abscess. But It gives me information so I know if I need a vet appointment or I can simply soak a foot.
