Flourish Freshwater Plant Supplement - Aquarium Element and Nutrient Blend 100 ml, (Model: 515)

I was first introduced to Flourish when I had planted aquaria. I strongly believed it helped me grow strong, healthy, beautiful aquatic plants which even became a side business where I sold my clippings and extra propogates online all across the country. I no longer have aquariums but have dozens of terrestrial houseplants in pots. I had been giving them fertilizer, but those did not contain micronutrients other than iron. The result was that the new growth was not as pretty as it could have been. In particular, the leaves of my peace lilies were paler between the veins in some type of chlorosis. I remembered that Flourish had brought out the best in my aquatic plants, so ordered this for my potted plants. I am dosing at a concentration of about 10X what it says on the bottle (I add ~1mL Flourish / gallon water) because the houseplants are not constantly bathed in a nutrient-rich medium of water. I assumed that by giving this to only the roots, the plant would still be able to absorb and transport the micronutrients to the rest of the tissues. A few drops into my 0.4 gal watering can every other week did not seem excessive to me. Well, it worked. My peace lilies no longer have chlorosis and all my other plants are healthy as can be. See pictures. I use Flourish on all my plants - including tropicals, succulents, epiphytes such as orchid, and even herbs ( basil, mint, and scallions) to be eaten. None have reacted badly and all are... "Flourishing"! I truly believe this product has played a part in bringing my plants from just surviving and growing into thriving and being their very best!!! It contains the widest range of micronutrients I have found so far.

Helps my tank plants grow big and strong. I've not had one death, fish snail or shrimp. It is easy to use and does smell. I consider this a staple to those who have planted tanks.

Finally decided to try this after not seeing any growth from the root tabs. In 1 week my plants all turned a much richer green color. Additionally, every plant in the tank has new leaves coming in. Leaves that were floating in the tank have begun growing roots. This stuff works awesome. I use this, root tabs, and Excel Bioavailable Carbon. My tank is looking great.

This product is great! Ever since I've added it to my tanks I've totally noticed the difference. Before I decided to buy this the only fertilizer I've used was API Leaf Zone, which isn't bad either, but using both products together will definitely make your planted aquarium flourish!

Need some kind of dispenser in order to enable you to disperse it correctly with the right amount of volume per leader who has a 50 gallon tank for a capital.I only have a three leader tank and therefore the amount to be used is extremely small like three drops

Instructions on the bottle are very easy to follow and the cap is a guideline for measuring. Plants brighten up and pop with minutes of adding it to the water. If you're having a slow down with your plants or just getting your planted aquarium started, throw this in, it will greatly speed up the process. Many of the plants that I have that don't get color on them without CO2 even seem to grow with color, and no, I do not have a CO2 diffuser. Will continue to buy this when it runs out for sure.

I was in the aquatic trade for years and have used a wide variety of chemicals, feeds etc. This stuff is great! The day after my first feed I saw beautifully healthy root growth from all surface plants. Since this point I’ve seen verdant, healthy growth and am happy as a clam!

Excellent product! I have some Java Ferns that were looking a bit yellowish so I picked this up. Within the first week of adding to my tank they have greened right up and look so much healthier. I really like the Seachem line of products as I use Prime as well for treating my water.
