It's very high quality.
I think it would have worked perfectly. But I damaged the spring bar, and the tool had nothing to push against. Even so, after repeated attempts, I found no damage to to tool itself.

Can't substitute the best - Required Equipment for Serious Watch Collectors/Enthusiasts
When I first bought this watch band adjustment tool, I thought it was a bit pricey considering the fact you can buy an entire watch repair kit for the cost of just this one tool. However, after owning it for a while and using it on multiple watches, I can see why it's considered the "grail" of the watch band adjustment tools. It's very sturdy, does not have a ton of play like the cheaper options and makes watch band adjustments even easier. I could tell the difference when I removed a watch band compared to the cheaper option that came with my watch repair kit. This is night and day better. It's properly sized and easy to hold, but it has some heft so you know it's quality. While others have the same functionality, there just isn't the same ease of removal as with this tool. I would highly recommend this product for watch enthusiasts or anyone with the "watch bug" that many of us catch and end up with way more watches than we intended to own.

You can buy a cheaper one, but for a little more, get the one that the professionals swear by.
Get the one that the professionals swear by. C'mon, how much did you pay for your watch? Are you gonna scrimp on a precision tool to use on it? It isn't expensive and you will have it for the rest of your life unless a horologist steals it from you, and they will if they can. Don't trust Teddy Baldessarre anywhere near it.

Nicely machined spring bar tool
Great tool, quality machined tool. Operationally, I find that I have to tighten the tips after every or every other use, but a solid spring bar tool. I like that I can order replacement tips if needed. Would recommend.

Worth the extra cost
Was on the fence about this due to its cost, but after difficulties with other spring bar tools included with straps or in economy priced kits I decided to take the plunge. This tool has great weight and I love the length. Made removing the bracelet from my Speedy Pro a dream. Excellent purchase
