Much easier
This tool here was perfect. If you watch their video you will see what it does. The video is right on and when I got the tool it did exactly what it showed. My time to do Tires for my truck was less than half the time before without this tool.

Dismounts tires easily
Soooo much easier than trying to work with the spoons which I had originally purchased and messed up my shoulder really bad after trying to manhandle some steer tires, I was determined to be able to change my own truck tires so went out on a limb and got the Good Buddy, could not believe how much easier this tool is compared to the spoons, I watched a YouTube video on how to use it and then went to work on my tires, and remember always use plenty of liquid soap or something slippery to put on them sidewalls..

Works poorly on aluminum wheels before modifying
Demounting tool: Tried tool out on 22.5 tires on aluminum wheels. Even with lots of lubricant it took extreme effort to get several tires removed. Quickly noticed that edge of wheel where tool contacted was showing signs of significant scraping. Tool is a steel casting with rough surface that has been plated. I spent about 1/2 hour with a 2" flap sander in a die grinder and ground / sanded areas smooth where tool contacts wheel. Tool now works much better as rough surface was causing added friction / filing effect where tool needs to slide on soft aluminum bead lip of wheel as tire is being removed. I didn't see in any literature that I could find that mentioned anything about usage on aluminum wheels. I do see that all videos seem to show steel wheels. 4 stars Mounting tool: Not impressed. Size makes it awkward to work with and tongue of tool slipped off and kicked back at me several times. Reverted to my conventional tire mounting irons. I would not buy again. 1 star.

WOW is all I can say
Probable the only thing that I’ve ordered in a long time that way over exceeded my expectations. This thing is built like a tank and is very heavy compared to what it looks. It took me less than a minute to have a 290/75R22.5 tire completely off the rim. It would take me a while fighting with two tire bars to dismount a tire. The bar to mount the tire back on the rim took a minute to get the hang of. but once you figure out how far you can move it without it slipping out from between the rim and tire it worked great. Just make sure that you buy the AME and not some knock off brand.

Its the brand you buy, not just the tool that matters on this one
You have to buy the golden buddy if you want a tire dismount tool that does what it says. Ive used both many times and this is the best. It has to do with the precise cuts on the bars that actually find and fit into the inner tire rim. They have to be cut and spaced in a certain way or this bar is not very useful. You can buy cheaper ones but your going to have to play with it to work properly. Med/heavy ase tech. for 13 yrs now. I mostly used this tool on semi truck tires and bigger so keep that in mind as well.

Awesome tool
Starting using the dismounting tool when I worked at a truck shop several years ago. Now I'm running my own trucks and doing alot of work myself. Dismounting truck tires made easy with this tool.

Even though I had to return this bars and pay for the return shipping, I can say they are well built and I have used this type of gold bars before. I had to return them since the place I was working at didn't have this tools and wouldn't get them so I bought them myself but then was let go since I wouldn't associate with their racist worker. Anyways the bars are made of great material and are sturdy, this bars will help you in not screwing up your back since you will not be lifting the wheels over and over as you do with the regular tire bars. I would recommend using liquid bead breaking liquid to help slide the tires off with ease. If you have worked in the industry of tires and changing semi tires, you will love this bars once you get used to them, you won't want to go back to using the regular bars.
