I have had this set for over a year and we're generally pretty happy with it. Here's a list of what we have discovered we like and don't like: Pros: -Healthy food groups: I gravitated toward this set because many others have things like French fries, pizza and deserts. I prefer my son play with healthy foods because I think it helps him get excited about eating them. It's hard to play with an ice cream cone and then have your mom serve you up broccoli. -Boxes: I like that the food comes in the cute little crates. We talk about the various food groups as we separate it. It also helps him clean up and organize. -Wood: I tend to buy wood toys over plastic because of the health risks of plastic (although I'm not sure about the paint on these). They also just look better and last longer. Cons: -Chipping: I have had a couple items chip. The hamburger bun arrived with a little paint missing, not enough to make me send it back, but it was definitely there. The paint does chip off if things are banged together or dropped. -Heavy: These are obviously heavier than plastic. If they are thrown it can hurt or damage floors/walls/furniture. Overall, I would buy these again. My son plays with them in his little kitchen daily along with the M & D sandwich making set.

Muy lindos y funcionales son de madera

Melissa & Doug nunca falla, tengo varios productos de esta marca y los resultados en el tiempo han sido buenos. Es un juguete que (a no ser que los niños los pinten) estarán en perfecto estado pasados los años, un juguete de siempre. Las distintas piezas presentan un buen lijado y acabado, con colores vivos y apropiados (básicamente colores primarios) que ayudarán a los niños en su desarrollo. A destacar que la mayoría de las comiditas son sanas y saludables (a excepción de la hamburguesa que les hace bastante gracia), se puede encontrar carne, pescado, lácteos, frutas y vegetales, es decir la comida que cualquier padre quiere que coma su hijo. Que no tena patatas fritas y similares ayuda a que los niños entiendas que las frutas y verduras forman parte de nuestro día a día. La presencia de las cajitas es un plus y los niños se divierten metiendo y sacando las cosas de ellas. Sin lugar a dudas mucho más bonito y sostenible que las cocinitas de plástico; eso sí, cuidado con los pequeñines, es madera, es decir, si se dan con ello duele.

Great quality like it

Meravigliosi alimenti da gioco in legno, davvero ben fatti, ottimi i dettagli della carne e del pane. Ogni pezzo è grande più o meno quanto la mia mano. Sono caduti a terra più e più volte e non si sono scheggiati o danneggiati. Belle le cassettine dove riordinare gli alimenti per categoria (panini,pesce,uova,formaggi, latte,burro,carne e frutta). Sono robusti, un pochino pesanti ma nulla di esagerato. Consiglio l'acquisto, ideale per bambini dai 2 anni e mezzo in poi! Solo una puntualizzazione, mio figlio ha "ciucciato" la coscia di pollo che ha perso un po' di colore, quindi la mia unica attenzione è quella di non fare utilizzare questi giochi a bambini troppo piccoli che ancora mettono tutto in bocca (la vernice non è atossica, ed anche se lo fosse stato sempre vernice è). Per il resto ok!
