This 5 needles felting tool is perfect for larger areas. It comes with 5 fine needles, but you can buy heavy weight needles to use in it depending on your project. You can use less than 5 needles, too. It's made really sturdy, & comes with a plastic guard. I haven't used it to felt yet, but I did practice with some very old wool roving, & this tool worked great. I'll update my review after I use it for a full project. I'm very happy I got this felting tool!! It shipped pretty fast!! 5 stars!!

I love clover products over other brands. I feel this tool which I find helps speed up felting and making less poke holes is also more durable. I buy extras for students to help in their projects as well as a few for myself.. I load them with different types of needles so I can have the perfect set up ready while creating a structure. I bought one of these at a yarn shop a decade ago. I still use it. Have never broken a needle. One of my students purchased another brand and all her needles broke. I purchased a set of the clover brand for her and hoped the quality would still be as good. It is. She has not broken a needle again. I recommend this brand to all my students who are working on flat needle felting projects. We are doing art pieces. Abstracts. Still lifes. And landscapes. Tool is easy to use and very effective for locking the fibers together on a craft felt background. We use thick high density foam mats rather than a brush to work on. We use single needles for details and edges.

There’s lots of different versions on the multi needle tool available, quite a lot of them have complaints about quality and just not working. This is the real deal clover tool, it works, it works well. Comes with 5 fine needles that are very good quality (clover presumably) Not too noisy, doesn’t lock if it’s own accord, produces felt very quickly and easily. Nice to hold, comfortable in the hand.

Excellent felting tool! I use it for making felted animals with roving and merino wools. It comes with 5 fine-sized, felting needles which can be used together for larger areas or if you want fewer needles, it easily unscrews and you can add/remove needles. It has a plastic shield that covers the needles and when you punch the needles into the fabric, the shield retracts and goes inside the handle. It's great as it protects my fingers.
