this thing could lift a 1 year old
this thing could lift a 1year old lol jokes but it's glide is amazing have to keep a lot of down elevator to make it land , it just wants to fly ,i would not suggest this as your firs model as it is a bit heavy and requires a lot of room and a bit of skill to have it up and down in one picewould say this is a second model after your first foamy , good idea to lengthen the nose and install a electric motor and folding prop , i did this to mine and its a bit more versatile and lighter as there is a lot of lead in the nose to make CG right .thank you

Fantastic fun!
Very nice monocote job on wing sections. It took me about 5 hours of building time, but I'm a perfectionist. Fill the center section of the fuselage with spray foam. The fuse is weak otherwise. Also I really recommend placing brass bearing sleeves, 1/4" I. D. in the leading edge of the wing to hold the dowels. Also wrap the wing center with fiberglass. Wrap fuselage near dowel insertion points with glass. I installed 1/4" I. D. bronze bearing sleeves in the wing and fuselage to reinforce the connection. Use nylon screws to hold on wing, they shear easily. What a fun huge flier! Buy insurance.

A very well done ARF...
I am usually not a fan of ARF rc planes but this one has changed my expectations. The workmanship is commendable and the instruction booklet was understandable. Maiden flight was almost spot on for trim. I love to build but sometimes you just want to go fly....

This is an amazing and large glider
This is an amazing and large glider. However I wish it came uncovered and in place the factory assemble the wing joiners using a jig with the covering material simply included as there are a few things that many people would like to do to it like fiber glassing the center section of the wing for greater strength for going powered, checking and regluing the wing where needed and adding some carbon fiber, adding spoilers or flaps, etc. Glassing the center section also prevents wear and tear using rubber bands to mount the wing using foam wing tape (for friction) as done right (internal rubber band attachment) it adds very little drag with the bands not crossed and lets the wing let go in a mishap absorbing energy protecting it as well as the fuselage. There is some minor but important building involved where a jig would make the hardest part (to do right) an easy ten minute affair the factory should do IMO before covering it. And leaving the wing uncovered also let's the builder add LED lights not available when first introduce as well as transparent covering. One good thing is enough wood is left to hand sand the tips and get the washout as you want it to improve the L/D where done right it creates a point in the speed range where the L/D flattens out and the sinks rate is reduced.
