Philip Shaw Samsung Remote Control for Samsung TV

These (I bought three of them) replaces the remotes that came with my new Samsung TVs (small in the office, larger in the bedroom, biggie in the living room). The remotes that came are much smaller and--this is the problem--round on the bottom. What this means is that if you have it on the table nearby and want to just reach over the lower the volume (as I just did when Joe Scarborough took off) or turn it on or off you can't just press a button. If you do the round bottom causes it to twirl in place and start scattering across the table. You have to grab it with your hand and hold it in place or even pick it up to activate a single button. This is a silly design (the tiny raised pimples front and back do not help, much to close together). These are perfect. The layout is the same, it does all of the same things right out of the box (just point and click) and it lies flat and stable on the table. As a bonus the layout is larger and the buttons are easier to find than the compressed keypad of the new ones.

OMG!!! I received this remote today because the one for my Samsung MYSTERIOUSLY disappeared! As soon as I put in two AAA batteries in it, it worked! I thought I was taking a chance but its TRUE! I was absolutely shocked it worked! I honestly thought I was taking a chance buying this remote but it is everything very everyone says it is! The Samsung parts website is a total RIP OFF! Glad I check and research Amazon after I went to the Samsung parts site! Super cheap compared to them and it WORKS! Best purchase I've made through Amazon and at a GREAT price!Now I can go back to watching my Netflix streaming! I bought this because I couldn't get to my Bluray player or Netflix streaming without the TV remote!WHEW!!!!!!!!

At this price, I don't know how long it will last, but I'm ordering a couple more. One for the other side of the living room, and another to have in reserve, just in case.Worked out of the cellophane bag with my Samsungs, and the Sleep button rates 5 stars if nothing else.So far, I'm very pleased.

I threw both the tv remote and the Firestick remote into the wash with my sheets! Ordered this to replace the one that was ruined. When it arrived, I realized it was much bigger than the one I'd had before. Same functions and layout, just much bigger, not comfortable in my hand. Otherwise works just fine, so if you get one, check out the different sizes.

I bought this one because the other ones had reviews that mentioned it didn't have the internet button and this one had no such reviews. It does not have the Internet button, fortunately I was able to find a way to get the remote to access the internet apps on my TV*. Standard controls function well so as a normal remote it is fine, it feels like it isn't a factory device but it might be because it is for a lower end TV.Compared to my original it says HDMI instead of Source in the middle, the backlight button is now Source, and Internet is now Fav. CH.*To access the apps push Menu, go to Application, click Content View and then Internet@TV.

I was really lonely when my family moved out, so I started using my Samsung HD monitor/TV more often at night to feel less alone.I would be almost asleep and realize the TV was still on, but getting up would make the falling asleep process happen all over again, so I looked for a compatible remote. I believe this is pretty much universal. It required no set up and works great!Although I'm no longer lonely, I like having the option to have the remote and I love knowing I only spent this much on it!

I bought this for an older Samsung tv and it worked great with it and then that tv died. I bought a new Samsung and it also works with that one. Super easy to start using, didn't have to look up codes or anything. Highly recommended.

In general, it works fine with my Samsung 7000 series TV. It's not an exact replacement but does cover the basic buttons like power, channels, volume etc., which is what typically fails. I'm not sure about the other more advance buttons though. It also doesn't quite feel the same. The plastic used doesn't feel as robust, but for a few bucks, I don't mind.

The Product is good and works fine. But in my case i was expecting the remote only for the TV. but what i received is for TV& the Bluray thats fine added advantage. But pause button is not working while watching the videos from USB connected to TV. If i press pause button it try to pause the Bluray disc. :(.Update:-They intracted with me and asked my current TV remote number and they have sent the another remote which works for my TV. Fantastic Job. Thanks to Best agency. Keep it up..

Can't ask for more. I get exactly what I ask for which is an original remote for my tv.
