Warmth/waterproof This jacket was actually really warm. I was snowboarding in 20 degree weather and I was actually hot. I also wore it around and it kept me extremely hot. The jacket was also waterproof. I was snowboarding in the snow and fell a couple of times and at no point did the jacket get wet. Color The jacket I got was the white one. It’s actually a very bright white color. It is also designed for high visability so I was actually kind of easy to spot even in low visability. Utility The jacket had a ton of really deep big pockets. It made carrying things around a lot easier. The only downside was that the “phone” pocket (located on the inside of the jacket near the breast area) is actually really small and didn’t even come close to fitting my iPhone 8. It does have a slightly bigger pocket underneath that pocket but if you’re snowboarding or skiing your phone would be in an uncomfortable spot as it pokes you. This isn’t a big deal but it was a little annoying. Material/quality The jacket is made from really nice warm materials. It is a bit thicker than traditional snowboarding jackets but it was still really high quality. The stitching was really well done as well. The fur is also really nicely made. It got wet a couple of times and it always dried nicely and has not gotten matted and gross like most other fux fur. Overall I would totally recommend this jacket. I used it around town as well as snowboarding and it did a great job at keeping me warm and dry. It’s a nice fitting jacket and looks actually quite stylish and it’s a thicker coat. The only downside was the phone pocket but it’s just a minor inconvenience.

This is a very well made, high quality coat. I would say it fit about to size maybe slightly smaller than expected but not necessarily to increase your size. I like that the hood was detachable and still left a collar to zip up around your neck. Cuffs in the sleeves to help keep snow out of your jacket. A thoughtful thumbhole in the cuff if needed for even more added stability. It is not as bulky as the popular puffer coats but it is fairly heavy and does have some bulk so for those looking for a light lighter midweight winter jacket this may not suit your purpose although it is not marshmallow man bulk. It had a lot of extras like interior pockets the thumb hole and other thoughtful things that you wouldn't think you needed until you have them. It's an attractive well-made very warm coat. I would recommend it for those who are active outdoors and in need of a warm coat.

This coat arrived just in time for the big storm. I really like how warm it is and I love the color (I got the red). The hood is nice and stays up, but the fur fringe can end up blocking a bit of vision. The coat is a great length, I wore it around Bryant park and the cold wind definitely would have frozen my cheeks if I hadn't worn this coat. The sleeve length is perfect and I really like that it is roomy enough for a thick underlayer to be worn on the coldest days, hasn't happened yet, but winter isn't over yet. The zipper is heavy duty and sturdy and so far, has never faltered or caught on my other clothing. My only complaint is with the way the hood is attached to the coat. It is attached with buttons! One of the buttons has already come off. The buttons are small (like the kind you find on a button up blouse) and they have just two holes, which means this one will not be the first to fall off. I can sew the button back on, that isn't the problem, it's just weird that they chose buttons for the hood instead of heavy snaps. Now I have to sew this button back on and I will strengthen the stitches on the other buttons as well because I am hoping this coat will last me for several more winters.

I absolutely LOVE my new jacket!! For reference I am: 5'8 1/2" 300 lbs Pear Shaped Hip: 60" Waist: 46" I ordered a size 4X (which is roomy for layers) in the Grape color. (I honestly believe I could have ordered the 3X and it would have fit perfect) Here's a little backstory...We moved to Bahrain 2 1/2 years ago and left all of our winter clothes in storage back in the states because who needs winter clothes in 120 degree heat?? Well, we planned a trip to Germany for Christmas this year and guess what? WE NEED WINTER CLOTHES!! I am plus size woman and have had to order all of my clothes online while living here. (This stresses me out because I am so hard to fit!) I am pear shaped, I carry my weight in my butt, hips, thighs, but also my arms...I usually need the waist of a 22 and the legs of a 24/26 depending on the cut...so lets just say online clothes shopping/trying to determine my size from reviews is EXHAUSTING! I went round and round for months researching winter coats for myself and wondering "would they fit??" We were getting down to the wire and I needed to make a decision. I fell in love with this coat online but desperately wanted it in black but they were sold out in my size :( so I kept shopping around but found myself always coming back to this coat. I bit the bullet and ordered the coat...praying it was true to the color on the computer screen (wine) and not bright purple. The coat arrived on time and when I pulled it out I was instantly in love! The color was even prettier in person!! It's a beautiful deep wine color! I love that there is small high-vis piping on some of the seams that will definitely come in handy at night wearing a dark coat. I love the color of the fur trim (tan), the fur is big and fluffy just what I wanted. There is a bungee around the hood to pull it tighter to your face, but I do wish there was also an adjustment on the back of the hood. The hood is rather large and could definitely use that extra adjustable feature. Also, for me I wish there was one more snap or interior bungees on the sides to cinch in more but I know that I have this problem with just about every top. The jacket is super warm and has tons of pockets! I honestly don't know if I will need my "extra layers" I purchased to keep me warm. All in all I am super happy with my purchase and would absolutely order this jacket again! I hope this helps :)

I needed a warm jacket that wouldn't be heavy to wear in car. I'm a courier & in & out of car all day, so I wanted something comfortable, warm & wears well. Took a chance on this jacket, ordered an xl & it fit perfect. Covers below the butt....so no chills up the back!

While I live in Charlotte, NC, where the winters are usually mild, we are traveling to Buffalo for Christmas and while there going to a Bills football game. I knew that I needed a heavy winter coat. I read so many reviews and decided on this one. Let me say that I am not someone that spends a lot of money on single items, but at $180 this coat is worth every penny and more. It is obvious why this coat is on the more expensive side - it's very well made and heavy. The pockets are fleece lined and big enough for hands and a phone. There is a pocket on one upper arm maybe for earbuds or something else small. There are also two decent sized pockets on the inside of the coat. The coat zips up easily and has snaps as well. The sleeves are cuffed with thumb holes. There are also snaps on the each side (outside of coat) where you can tighten the waist about an inch or two. The hat is heavy and the faux fur lining will definitely keep the wind out, but is a bit oversized so it may be hard to see side-to-side. I am 5'6", weigh between 165 and 170 and I got the XL to make sure I had room to layer if needed. The coat fit slightly big, exactly what I wanted. The length is just below my butt, which is perfect. And the blue color is beautiful and as pictured. I can't wait to test this in Buffalo next month. Update: We went to the Bills/Patriots game in Buffalo. Temperatures were in the single digits. I did have on layers with such low temperatures, but I did not get cold. In fact, heading back to our vehicle, I was actually too warm. I would have been warm with less layers. This coat is 10 out of 10 for warmth!

I'm so happy with this jacket! I purchased this coat after a lot of research to find a plus-size parka that would fit my bust and not make me look like a marshmallow. I was nervous buying based on the size chart but I knew I could return it if needed, so I took the leap. I ordered a 3xl since I have a larger bust and broad shoulders and I normally have a very tough time finding a coat that will allow me to move comfortably when fully zipped. I probably would have been fine in a 2xl, but the 3xl isn't overly big and I can easily move my arms and wear a sweatshirt underneath. The coat itself is great quality and I love the sweater-like cuff on the sleeve, it adds extra warmth and keeps snow out. It's a heavier coat and feels like it will keep me nice and warm in the negative winter temperatures of Northern New York. The fur on the hood is exactly what I was looking for, nice and fluffy and high quality. Overall I would highly recommend this coat to anyone looking for a fashionable and functional plus-sized parka.
