I have tried many products for my little girl who has allergic eczema. We tried Johnson's baby products, Dove unscented soap, Cetaphil, Aveeno baby, regular Aveeno, Aveeno with lavender, amongst other products and what we found is that nothing works as well as this one. California baby products cost a bit more so we buy the larger size and use it wisely. We save money in the end because we spend less on prescription products when we use this baby wash and I feel better about not having my daughter on all of those different medications. It works really well and has reduced my daughter's outbreaks because it is basically all natural, has fewer ingredients to contend with and the stuff in it she is not really sensitive to. She loves the smell, still feels like a little girl, and California Baby also makes bubbles so that she can have a bubble bath and be a kid. Thank goodness we found this product! We use the whole line for her - their sunscreen is the only one my daughter can tolerate. I know each person is different but if your child is sensitive or has allergies, I fully recommend that you try this. They have smaller sizes too so that you can try it to see if you like it.

This is seriously the most amazing baby wash ever invented! I absolutely love this brand and can’t wait to try the other products! It leaves my babies skin feeling so clean and hydrated, and I am at peace knowing there are no harmful chemicals! She smells so sweet and it’s PERFECT for her sensitive skin! Buy it!!

I was looking for a tear-free shampoo for my 3 year old that didn't have any nasty chemicals in it. After realizing my options were limited, I read reviews and settled on California Baby's calming shampoo & body wash. I am very happy with the quality of the shampoo. It has a light lavender smell and is truly tear-free. I will warn that if you are a flake like me, and rely on the picture instead of the description (which tells you there are 17.5 oz) you may be a little disappointed in the size of the bottle. I thought the bottle would be larger judging by the picture, but am still completely satisfied and will replace it when we run out. It is a little pricey, but a little goes a long way and the pump makes it easy to pour without waste.

Our baby smells nice after we bathe her with this and it leaves her hair and skin soft and healthy. Plus no parabens or other harsh chemicals like the more popular brands of baby wash. It's tears-free so doesn't bother her if it gets in her eyes. It is somewhat expensive but lasts us around three or four months of daily baths. The first bottle we purchased only lasted six weeks but that was our fault for using too much as it doesn't really lather - so that's something to keep in mind. We've repurchased several times and plan to keep doing so despite no discernible calming effect on our baby.

I love this baby wash! It is a bit pricy, but will last forever. My son is 20 months, and we have used one of the small bottles, one of the big bottles and half of a big bottle... over the last 20 months. A little goes a long way. I like the fact that it doesn't have a lot of nasty chemicals in it, and my son has never cried if any got into his eyes. His skin doesn't dry out from it and it has a nice, understated aroma. I love the fact that he smells great and not perfumey. I *may* even use it myself sometimes, it smells so good. I also love their other products... diaper cream and the hair detangler.

I decided to try this after hearing not-so-great stuff about Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo. Also, this wasn't rated poorly on the cosmetics database, so again, just really wanted to test it out. It has a very nice, light scent that is not overpowering by any means. Cleans well and rinses nicely without feeling like it strips baby's skin. The ONLY thing that could be improved is the pump--which might be slightly awkward if you are holding baby in the shower and trying to pump out some soap one-handed. But, otherwise, I think you'd be happy with this product! I will order it again. :)

Comes in a easy to use press pump. & the contents is so much fun in a bath for the child. We love it.
