My mom is a hair dresser, but since I've move to the west coast I haven't really asked her for any products because it's not cost and time efficient once she ships it to me. In saying this, I have used TONS of different shampoos, conditioners, leave-in treatments, etc. Today was my first day using the Keratin shampoo and conditioner. I also used the regular Miracle leave-in. The shampoo feels different from other shampoos I've used, and when I was washing it out I was worried I would be left with oily residue in my hair since my scalp is extremely oil. Of course I figured I might as well see this through with the conditioner since I already invested a lot of money into a shampoo and conditioner. When I got out of the shower and towel dried my hair it felt much more moist than usual, but not weight down. It actually felt like it had a bit more volume to it, which I was very surprised by. My hair is very straight; ot fine or thick, just normal; does not hold any styles; is colored, and has been permed before; I have a very oily scalp; and becuase of all the blow drying and heat styling my hair is a bit fried. I went to the hair dresser last to have my hair cut and she mentioned how damaged my hair was on the ends (not by my scalp because of how oily it is). Anyway, I sprayed in the leave in conditioner and combed my hair as instructed on the bottle. I let it sit in a towel to dry a bit more, and then I blew dry my hair just like normal. Wow...what a difference this stuff makes! Usually as I blow dry my hair I know that the ends are dry becuase I can see the texture of them become very dry (straw-like...not dry in a good way). This time my hair remained very soft. I had to keep checking that it was dry becuase it did not turn dry/straw-like even though it was dry. After my morning routine was complete I was so excited about how my hair looked. It wasn't weighed down (which was my biggest fear), it wasn't oily at the scalp--instead it was light weight and very shiny and healthy looking. This is the best my hair has looked and felt in years!!! I hope that everyone discovers the It's a 10 line and enjoys it as much as I do.

I adore the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In Product Plus Keratin, so I changed from my usual keratin shampoo and conditioner to try this It's a 10 Miracle Shampoo Plus Keratin, and it's good...but not the best. I'll be switching back to my original favorite, Suave Professionals Keratin Infusion Smoothing Shampoo, but I'm never getting rid of the It's a 10 Miracle Leave In, cause that stuff seriously changes your life. This shampoo was good, it does make hair smoother and a bit shinier, more manageable. I should explain that I've got a white-girl 'fro happening whenever I wash my hair with "normal" products, and I've learned over time to manage it. This shampoo is definitely a vast improvement to washing my hair with normal shampoo, but it's not quite as great as it could be. The hair is less weighed down, which can be good, but the ends tend to be a bit fly-away, though not truly static frizzy, with this shampoo. Overall, it's very good, but not good enough to de-throne the Suave Keratin Shampoo and Conditioner. By the way, if you haven't heard already, if you have frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair, it's best to "co-wash," as they call it. Put conditioner in your hair FIRST, on dry hair even, if you can manage it, and leave it in for at least a few minutes. I put conditioner on, finish the rest of my shower routine, and as the very last step, I use shampoo on my hair (just the roots/crown area, not the ponytail/ends area), and it makes a huge difference. I think that's one reason this set doesn't work as well for me, because it really wants the conditioner second like normal, and the results are good, but it just doesn't sink in and seal the cuticle with "good" moisture the way "co-washing" can. But I would still say give this a try.

I didn’t use it as often and in the correct way because I always saw her for my haircare needs. Now, I’m all natural with 4b hair about an inch from my bra strap. I recently decided to wear my natural hair out and I was about to go to the salon, pay $75 for a deep conditioning scalp treatment and flat iron when I decided I’d pay $50 for It’s a 10: Hair Mask, Leave-In Spray Plus Keratin, and Shampoo Plus Keratin. And it gets better – A little goes a long way! It's A 10 Miracle Hair Mask , 8-Ounces Jars It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin - 4 Oz It's a 10 Miracle Shampoo Plus Keratin, 10 Ounce I’M ECSTATIC AT MY RESULTS! I have a very dry scalp with flakes and all. The Miracle Hair Mask has Apricot Kernel Oil and Linseed Extract that repairs dry scalp. I also want to start wearing my hair out straightened. The Shampoo has keratin that aids in keeping my hair straight, locks out humidity and protects from heat and sun damage. The Leave-In replaces any loss protein in my hair, defrizzes, and adds a little shine. These are things I have seen in the past 2 days. The whole process took maybe 3-4 hours and I plan on repeating this every week (then, every 2 weeks once my scalp is healthy and my hair is trained). 1) I washed my hair in 4 sections with the Miracle Shampoo twice, focusing on the roots and scalp where the flakes hang out. 2) I towel dried (hair still damp) and applied the Miracle Mask, in 6 smaller sections, starting at the ends and a bit to my scalp. With my hair covered in the mask, I twisted the 6 sections into individual twists and put on 2 plastic caps to seal in the moisture and sat for about an hour watching a lecture. 3) I washed the mask out in the 6 sections and towel dried my hair before blow drying with my $15 Andis hair dryer Andis Ceramic Ionic Styler Hair Dryer, Gold (82105) with the comb attachment. 4) In 6 sections, I sprayed a little of the Miracle Leave-In, focusing on the ends, and combed it through before applying 1 pass of the straightener with my $45 Jilbere flat iron Jilbere Porcelain Flat Iron 1 1/2 Inch and leading with my comb. I recommend these products to EVERYONE and I hope my experience has provided some insight on whether this product line is right for you. I wrap my hair at night and in the morning, I spray a little Leave-In and if I need to touch up with my flat-iron, no big deal and I’m out the door, hair still straight, rain or shine.
