Scheduled to be delivered on Monday November 4 - I actually received it on November 2. Awesome. Took time to glance over the instructions, disconnected my old unit, connected the new unit and the remote works flawlessly. Local quotes were between $200 & $300, sure glad I checked Amazon and found The FireGuy. If I need anything for my pellet stove in the future, they will be the first I check with. I guess I will mention I am actually a 73 year old widow, and the directions made it easy for me to get everything up and running in less than 20 minutes.

Didn’t work
I believe this was sold and returned. It was missing the aaa batteries and the aa batteries wee loose in the box. The remote would not pair to the receiver. After a call to the manufacturer, I was advised to return the product, which I did

Sketchy Temperature Accuracy
Install was easy in the gas fireplace. Remote range is good. Price is way better than OEM for Heat N Glo. But the temperature reading is wonky and inaccurate. I think I’d rather just get a standard on/off remote from this brand. We went with a wall thermostat instead at a fraction of the price as temperature control was more important than turning the thing on and off from the easy chair.
