I don't send fabric samples -- I wanted this to cut uniform circles for quilting. It does a great job, cutting up to 7 layers of fabric at once. It took a full afternoon's work and pared it down to less than an hour!

Just received my circle cutter last week for an art project. It's a heavy duty item that comes with a very thick rubber mat for cutting. It looks to be fully metal, and in most places it's thick metal with no plastic parts that I can see. It's a nice surprise to get something that is really well made, similar to products in the old days. One small note I will add that likely doesn't matter to most is that the circle diameter is just shy of 4.5". It's probably 1 to two 16ths of an inch shy of 4.5".
