Bought this Car laptop charger in June 2023 for use in the motor home. It is great, does just what it says on the box. It charges my 2015 Macbook air with ease whilst I am using the computer. It can also charges my wife's 2023 Macbook air a little bit more slowly. In terms of reliability, it has been used pretty much continuously since being purchased, I am actually using it whilst writing this review. So far no problems.One thing to bear in mind though, make sure it is used with at least a 20amp heavy duty Marine Grade 12V/24V DC Cigarette Lighter Socket. Don't use it with the cheaper 10amp /15amp lighter sockets, they are awful and a fire hazard - it could melt them.

It’s awesome, seems really solid and certainly charges my MacBook Pro (early 2013 15” Retina) with no trouble, I’m using it with a 12v supply from a boats domestic batteries. Charges as fast as mains supply and has two USB ports as an added bonus too.Just an edit, I’ve had an issue with the cable, contacted BatPower and their customer service has been fantastic. The cable is being replaced under warranty, I’m buying a spare too as I don’t know when I’ll be staying in one spot for long again. Really friendly and helpful. I’ve recommended them to other liveaboards. Fabulous product and customer service.

The BatPower Macbook air car charger is small, functional, and works great. The extra USB ports are a nice touch, and the charger seems to charge my computer in a similar time to my home mains charger. Great customer service too! We had a problem with the charger after 15 months, and BatPower sent us a new one after a quick email, and it was with us in 2 days. Can't ask for more than that!

Good product, nice build quality shame about the poor translation of the manual in particular the warning!

This is exactly what I've been needing for my Macbook Pro with magsafe connector, and it works perfectly. The bonus ports for phones and other devices are particularly useful, this really is an all-in-one solution. Finally able to stop thinking about battery life while working on my Macbook in the car (as a passenger obviously!). Highly recommended.

Good product but stopped working after used about 6 times

This feels like it will do the job. It's a well built unit.Charged my laptop very well even when the laptop was running. I was concerned this unit may get too hot when doing this but it didn't.Time will tell whether the quality feel results in my delicate psu on my Macbook Pro getting the right power so as not to damage it but for now I feel confident in the product.

Needed something to charge MacBook via 12volts (on a boat). Considered and purchased an inverter (more expensive and difficult to use), then I came across this little machine… had excellent reviews so took the plunge… arrived, plugged into 12volt socket and hey presto… it works. So easy to use and store. Highly recommend
