Love all the treasured nursery rhymes. Beautiful looking book!

Comprehensive Nursery Rhyme collection with lots of good pictures.

This book has wonderful illustrations that bring the rhymes to life. The drawings are cute and engaging. It's definitely a gift worth giving or receiving. We actually purchased this for an adult with memory issues. There's a lot they cannot recall, but were able to recite these rhymes once we started them. They loved the illustrations, too, finding lots of detail to explore and take in.

This definitely brought back memories from my own childhood when reading this book! It has a ton of rhymes that I often forgot I knew until I read them, so I'm excited to be able to read or sing them to my daughter and now create memories for her. There are a ton of different rhymes and fun illustrations included in this book so it's a great addition to any nursery, and even makes for a cute baby shower gift. I'm excited to use it, and it will be a great resource if my daughter is crying and needs a song or rhyme to help calm her down.

Needed a book for a baby shower. Everyone was asked to bring one. This is the most beautiful Mother Goose I've ever seen. The illustrations are really lovely. Must be a winner.

So fun reading these to my Grandchildren and telling them all about how these were also read to me as. Child.

I am a late-life grandmother. I thought the book would have a link to the tunes associated with the rhymes where possible, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. Good illustrations. Language used in the book is the same as the language I grew up with, meaning it is the same as it was when I was first born (and no doubt much older than even that). The "Pussy" kerfuffle is interesting in that the terms Puss or Pussy always referenced a cat and nothing else at the time this rhyme was first published. And for decades that's what people thought of when they heard that naughty Pussy was on the table. Times change, and kitties morph into unmentionables in some minds. I do recommend the book, particularly if you want to take a walk down memory lane. There are a lot of dated ideas in this book, such as "What are little boys made of?" But, that's why you buy this book, to relive your memories of childhood.

This book really impressed me, way better quality than I even expected! Beautiful pictures and has such a vast collection of poems and rhymes.

The book was meant to be a gift, but I recieved a damaged piece. The outer package was ripped at the bottom, & so the bottom of the binding was torn. I had to stick it up with tape. The book was also bent. Not happy with the packaging or the delivery. But the book itself is very nice with lovely illustrations. Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes are a classic.

I love this book it has such a large variety of rhymes songs and poems it's hard to choose which to read first. The illustrations are exquisitely drawn. It evoked such lovely memories from my childhood and reading them to my children . I would highly recommend this book as it is such good value for money.
