Don't use alcohol to clean paint off of this!
I got this and installed it right after I got my band. It went on easily and looked great - for about a day. I was moving some chairs and evidently some paint from them transferred to the Band. Luckily, I had the Shield on it and the Shield had paint marks on it. I used some denatured alcohol to remove them and in doing that, the Shield turned milky looking and looks scuffed. I have not contacted ArmorSuit about it as I'd only had it about a day and works great other than that.I think that a warning about what solvents or cleaning solutions can or should not be used on it would help. I knew that alcohol would remove latex paint, so I used it, but it's not a good idea if you want to maintain the crystal clarity of the Shield.I will probably have it replaced because it is distracting, but otherwise I think it's a good investment to protect your Band. I didn't even try to put the one on that Microsoft provided.Updated May 16thThis looked terrific when I first applied it, but actually, this started to fail a couple of weeks after I got it. A few days after I applied it, I got some latex paint on it and cleaned it with paint remover. That scuffed up and dulled the left side, but didn't really affect the protection. Now (and for some time) it's lifting on the right side.Because there was a lifetime warranty, I didn't file for one right away, but now that I am really annoyed by the state of the cover, I finally filled out the attached form. I find that after 30 days there is a shipping and handling charge $2.00 for a new replacement. Had I known that, I would have requested a replacement two weeks after I got it.I purchased this April 8, just over 30 days ago. As you can see from the photos attached, it has been lifting off on the right of the Band and got damaged in the middle top.Updated May 29I contacted ArmorShield and sent them the same pictures I posted here and noted that it was just over a month after I got this that I filed for the lifetime guarantee with the shipping charges. They waived the charges and sent me a new one, which arrived less than a week later. So far, so good. They are very responsive and I would have no hesitation with recommending this for anyone with a Band. Just don't use any solvent to clean it and follow installation instructions carefully, the most important being let the cover sit undisturbed overnight so that the adhesive can set properly. Also, removal of the old one did not leave any residue and came off cleanly.

Great with a few shortcommings
Protection is a must for the Microsoft Band. With the downward facing screen and the expectation to use it for fitness purposes the screen will get scratched or worse. The instillation is fairly easy and similar to windows films and stickers. The kit includes slip solution allowing you time and forgiveness doing the clear screen cover. The instructions are very very basic and send you to a wed site to watch installation videos. Here in lies the first issue. Thought the videos are through and provide a full picture for the products they display, as of the writing of this review there is no video for the Microsoft Band. This creates an issue in the fact that the band is not truly similar to the tablets and phones videoed. They are fine for the clear screen cover, but the carbon fiber is different. The biggest issue comes from the fact the videos and information continue to mention covering the largest area with no holes on the carbon fiber, but with the band the holes are the main part in the middle. Still it was not a bad install. I used tweezers to hold the carbon fiber and lightly placed and re-placed until it was where I wanted it. You then use a blow drier on the lowest setting to help get it nice and tightly installed. With slip solution (spray) the install of the clear screen cover was a breeze. I gave it the full 24 hours for the screen cover to dry and it looked good. Any incidental bubbles will clear up over the next few days. I did have a small area that did not stick correctly. I attribute this to the shape of the screen. Now after a week and a half there is a small area near the action button that has started to pull up, and the corner where corner that had the issue is looking a bit worse. All in all exactly what you need and allowing for the shape of the Microsoft Band it is the best I think you will find. As with most new products and protections there is a few short comings.

Easy to apply
Easy to apply. Lifetime warranty (which I may need to use already). Does not slip or peel off if applied correctly. Obvious protection once applied.Price is higher than most, but there is a lifetime exchange policy. Just dont throw your old one away as the company will need it to process an exchange.EDIT: I had to make use of the exchange offer as my original got deep scratches. The company followed through as promised. I emailed a picture of my scratches, and they processed the replacement. they actually sent me TWO replacement screens instead of one. I am glad I spent a little extra on this product, because it works well, and they have great customer service.EDIT: I am now on my 5th Armor guard screen. These work and stay on great for about two weeks, and then the corners start slowly peeling up a little bit at a time. After a month the corners dont stick down anymore, but the rest of the guard is still on well. The company has followed through with every warranty replacement. If you have the product less than 30 days before you need it replaced, it is as easy as sending an email with a photo of the messed up screen cover. After you have the product for 30 + days, you have to jump through a few extra hoops to get the replacement. Fill out two forms, email or mail them in, send 1.99$ for shipping (you can use paypal too). Then, after you get the replacement you have to mail them your old screen back to them to keep the lifetime warranty alive. Overall not all that bad considering you get free replacements for life as long as they defect.I contacted the company for recommendations on how to keep the corners form peeling up. They said to let the screen dry longer before wearing the band. Like 3 days of letting it dry before use. Also, if the corners start peeling up, they said I can use a hairdryer to heat them up and re stick them. I tried this on my last cover, and it did not work well so opted for another replacement.
