Tried this out on my Stainless grill grates and I was surprised to see how easy they left the grates spotless. I use the grill almost everyday and haven't cleaned them in about a year, so they were really covered with grease & scum. Added the water to the Grilltastic & plugged it in and within 5 minutes I had the first of three grills perfectly cleaned with the stainless steel sparkling. My only feeling was that the Grilltastic was much larger than I expected and it takes both hands to operate. It took 2 tanks of water to clean each grill. Overall I was surprised at how well it cleaned & how fast it produced the steam. If I had used steel wool to clean the grates, I would have spent a hour on each one & they still would not look as great as what 5 minutes with this product did. Great!!!

no where in illustration or details was it noted this is a hard wired item-requiring an extension cord to plug it in outside. It appeared to be wire free-as if it was either a battery or rechargeable battery item. however-it does clean the grill well-so overall it is a good product.

This product worked the first time and it did a great job. A month and half later I’m going to use it for a second time and it is not working, the steam is not working and it has water. I’ve contacted the vendor so I’m going to wait to hear from them... I will update my comments.

First let me say I am one of those guys who likes a "seasoned" grill so mine was pretty gunked up. Cleaning the grill is normally an all day and very messy event. This tool does a very good job of getting the baked on grease/carbon off the grates and flame covers. Will it clean your grill to brand new status? No, but it does take a significant amount of gunk off very quickly and with minimum effort. I found it cleaned the flame covers very well. The grill takes a bit of scrubbing but the steam really does a pretty good job. I would recommend this tool.

This is easy to use and does a good job cleaning the grill, but is very messy.

I bought this primarily to clean the Grill Grates on my gas grill. They are solid anodized aluminum with holes to allow heat passage. One side is ridged for leaving grill marks and keep food out of any fat and the other side is flat like a griddle. This product has pretty much zero effect on the built up carbon on these grates so I had to send it back.

This was a Father's Day gift from our adult kids to my husband. I saw a write-up for this in a newspaper during the winter and sent them a copy of the article. They were thrilled to get him something useful and that he would probably like. He was excited to try it out and was quite impressed with the ease of use and excellent job it did cleaning his gas grill (which had terrible build-up on the grates). I think our grill will be much cleaner these days with this new toy on hand. My husband and I are getting one for our son-in-law for his birthday.

I was skeptical and hesitant to spend $100 on a grill brush, but I just bought a new house and bought a ≈10 year old Weber Summit 470 off the previous owner, so I figured if I'm going to have a $2,200 grill, I can splurge. I'm glad I did, because this thing got these old grates shining like new in no time. It's really quite remarkable. So, my advice? If you're even remotely considering spending $100 on a grill brush, do it. If spending more than $15 seems idiotic, then, well, you've already made up your mind and move along. Weber actually makes a nice $15 grill brush that I'd used for the last few seasons.

I was so excited to give it to my husband for our anniversary...he was excited to get it! He went to try it out and for the first 5 seconds it worked beautifully, then the steam stopped working...he didn’t even get to clean the grill! Very disappointed.
