This is a great cup, I got it as a replacement for a mug that broke in the past and this works perfectly for any Cthulu/octopus lover. The shape of the ceramic on the inside is well-sculpted and looks of high quality! My only issue with it is that it's really hard to clean the stains of coffee or tea on the bottom of the cup after you finish drinking. I find the best way to clean it is to run hot water over the dry coffee/tea stains and let it sit for a while before draining and cleaning with soap as best as possible.

But if you use it for your morning coffee… PLEASE ONLY DRINK HALF THE CUP BEFORE REFILLING! While enjoying morning coffee or afternoon tea, Cthulhu sends psychic dreams that drive people insane, leading them to join its cult. Our Lord Cthulhu is an huge creature but at the same time small enough to fit into the bottom of this small cup. Its effect on you primarily takes two forms, either from its terrifying physical appearance or by being physically attacked, as it is a creature of immense power. The cup is designed well enough, but as for the monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind, that dwells in the depths of this “mug”. My biggest issue with this purchase is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. It just makes you want to shout "Cthulhu fhtagn!” "Cthulhu fhtagn!” "Cthulhu fhtagn!” Into the void for all of time. I really like the design of the black on the out side and the light cream color of the interior despite actually revealing that we live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. So, nothing unusual for morning coffee when facing another day, another endless day of suffering… The packaging was sufficient, it came in one piece, felt well packed and upon opening the package I had looked upon all the universe has to hold of horror, and even the skies of spring and flowers of summer must ever afterward be poison to me… this was a good Christmas gift for my wife, but it doesn’t hold much liquid despite it appearing as an endless void when peering down at it.

Used these cups for "house" gifts. They're both cute and functional. Match the particular cup style to the personality of your giftee.

Great gift idea! The only issue I found is that it's hard to clean under the grooves of the skull in the cup. I'd say use this cup for water or non-residue drinks and definitely wash it right away no matter what to avoid anything funky growing under the skull.

I was so pleased when I got this! As a fan of all things Skull, I knew this would make a great addition to my other skull mugs, dishes, wine glasses etc. And I wasn't disappointed. I didn't really notice from the picture when I bought it, but the outside of the mug is solid black and it is a shorter, wider mug. It reminds me of one you might put cappuccino in, although not quite as big as the ones you would find at a nice coffee shop. The skull is awesome and has great detail. I can see how the mug was designed to be more shallow so that the submerged skull can "rise" sooner. Overall, a great purchase.

It's a nice addition to one I have with a spider at the bottom. Not sure I'd actually use it to offer coffee to some unsuspecting soul... chances are they'd drop and break it in shock! LOL! But it's a nice talking piece.

La taza está genial por forma y por lo que hay dentro, sinceramente, pero me tiene un poco intrigada el día que le vertamos liquido caliente, ya que me encontré estas partes resquebrajadas y no me ha hecho mucha gracia. Cuando compras una taza de este calibre prefieres que esté bien recubierta para protegerla y me encontré también que estaba solo cubierta por los laterales tal y como está en la foto y no por dentro.
