Univer Goulash Cream Hungarian Paste Hot (160 grams)

We originally picked this up on our travels yo the City Market in Budapest. We use it in place of traditional tomato paste and add it soups and stews. It’s not really that hot but certainly adds a distinctive flavor. We keep this and the sweet version on hand.

After a recent trip to Budapest we started making various Hungarian recipes. This paste is great. It has everything you need it in it to make goulash (tomato, onion, paprika...). Ironically, it is cheaper to buy it online then it was to purchase it at the markets in Budapest.

Goes great in anything tomato-based. Adds a nice richness and depth!

I will never go back to using powdered paprika again after using this paprika paste which reminds me of growing up in Germany! It has that old town, authentic, delicious taste!!! I'm never going back and I will always have this tube on hand. You cannot go wrong with this paprika!!!

I’m in love with this. Being Hungarian while living in California posses some challenges when desiring authentic Hungarian dishes! This takes my goulash, paprikash, and other dishes to the next level. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. Perfection in a paste!

If you like real Hungarian Goulash / Goulash soup, this stuff is my go to spice. don't let the "Hot" scare you just add less

Delivered carefully wrapped. BB date acceptable. Finger tested for flavour, tastes good😅 Will try in recipes to see how it works.
