Heel Pain Gone - these insoles work
Heel pain arrived suddenly in my left foot . I tried pain killing cream without success . NHS recommends resting your feet and soaking in hot water or don't walk ! Not practical with two Labs to walk and long walks to the London Stadium . A friend recommended these Gel Planter Insoles and I so pleased with the pain relieve . They say to allow a few weeks for them to work . I move from shoe to shoe , walking 3 miles or more a day . I recommend to anyone experiencing heel pain .

life savers! IMO.
I had been suffering really badly with Plantar Faciitis for about a year. It was awful, really painful and debillitating. I had spent a small fortune on various inner soles and heel supports etc, but nothing did any good. I came across these brilliant inserts whilst scrolling through Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give them a go. I was so glad I did as the relief was instant and I could actually walk without being in absolute agony. It's about six months or a bit more and my heels are so much better. I can get up off the sofa to walk into the kitchen like a normal person, not someone who as soon as they stood up, could only hobble. I wear them every day and my heels/feet are almost back to normal. They support my arches , the fit is excellent and my husband, who also suffers, but not to the same degree, has also bought a pair. I'm not saying they cured me, but it feels that way. Out of everything I tried, these did the trick. I would highly recommend.

Never not wearing these insoles
I've been wearing these insoles for over 3 months now. I wear them in my slippers and in any pair of shoes I wear out (which is mostly my sneakers these days). These insoles haven't cured my Plantar Fasciitis, which I was originally hoping they would do. Unfortunately, my PF is requiring shockwave therapy to fix the issue. However, these insoles are a lifer saver! I have very little pain when I walk in them and I'm never not using them. I'm used to doing a lot of physical activity, running etc. Now I'm walking only 30 mins a day and I feel these insoles help keep me from damaging my PF any further when I do walk. I did forget to put the insoles in my shoes one day and had to catch a train and couldn't go back to get them. By the end of the day I was in terrible pain having walked around for over an hour. I keep these insoles in my Birkenstock slippers which really makes a difference, as I have hardwood floors and was previously walking barefoot until I was told not too by the doctor. They do relieve the pain as it says and I'm using these as part of my shockwave treatment so that I don't do any further damage to my foot when I walk. The insoles are a bit thinner than I expected but I've not used anything like this before so I'm not sure what the look and feel should be. I feel they are worth the money.

Wanted to like them
I had high hopes for these heel cups, looking at the reviews and the very generous return policy. They're well made (I purchased the "firm" version) and feel sturdy. They fit into the shoes I wear most regularly easily, and can be transferred from one pair to another without issue. Initially wearing the insoles felt nice - I think that "fascia bar" part of the insole was really helpful in helping my foot feel supported. However, wearing these insoles while out and about has been downright painful. More painful than is normal for me with PF. A short walk (around 2 miles or so) will leave me hobbling towards the end. I have to ice my feet after walking in these for a few hours. I've had flatish feet for a long time, and usually just buy 3/4 arch support insoles, which are mostly OK. I had hoped the Heel brand would be a good replacement. However, the insoles feel as though they are exacerbating the condition, as I struggle to walk after wearing these and then going barefoot in the house. It's like I've begun stepping on sharp daggers under each heel. My PF has never behaved like this before, so I'm concerned I may be making it worse somehow. I will look to return the heel cups, as I don't think they're right for my feet. I had high hopes, and in all fairness, the design and look of the item is great. They appear well- and quality-made. If your feet respond better to them than mine, I think you'd find them therapeutic and of good value.

Amazing for plantar fasciitis sufferers
I was very sceptical about these, having bought everything for plantar fasciitis pain relief that exists in the world, with no joy. I have been wearing these for over a month, and initially, they were a bit uncomfortable. But after a couple of days, you get used to them and genuinely don’t even notice them anymore. And they work *amazingly* well. You’ll notice that after your first day of wearing them. I find my offending foot doesn’t hurt *at all* the day after I wear these. However, if I spend a day indoors without wearing these at all, the plantar fascia pain comes back slightly the next day. So I’ve actually just bought a pair of the indoor heel seats by this company. I am a keen runner and have been able to run 12k a day, four or five times a week, without any significant pain (possibly a little niggle here and there, but these last few days have been zero pain). I used to wake up and have to hop to the bathroom on my one good foot, and now I can just walk straight there, like in the old days, before I had any heel pain! I went to the hospital last week for the steroid injection, (which had been booked in Jan) but when they did the ultrasound they said my plantar fascia looked really healthy and they didn’t need to go through with the injection in the end. These have literally changed my life. I highly recommend. (Along with a bit of ice for the heel and an ibuprofen just in case, if you’re into running).

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
Terrible. The soles don't stay in place. In addition the description say made of gel. They are incredibly hard. They are meant for the heel not the arch. Amazon says I cannot return them despite only trying one of them. The other is still in the box. So buyer beware, if you buy this item you are stuck with it.

Comfortable for a time and then seem to not do much

I've have four of these purchased over the last 8 years. XL Firm, two in the original black and two in the newer blue. I use them in my normal daily shoes and boots as well as hiking boots. Coupled with pretty regular inside use of Birks they have pretty much arrested and eliminated the plantar fasciitis I was developing in my late 40s. Are they the best? I'm sure some more expensive and/or custom solutions, particularly full insoles, are better, but those are two to maybe 10 times the price. Basically these are one of the better bangs for your buck and the real deal. I noticed some mixed comments but with foot things that's to be expected. You basically have to try them out. Everybody's feet, gait, and weight are different. The only downside I found is because they are fairly grippy rubber. They wear out the heels of my socks faster. I'd ask the manufacturer if there is any way to add a layer, at least to the top side, of something with a little less friction.

I had an injury with my ankle due to Plantar Fasciitis and this has helped relieve the pain. Great product, I'll be buying more. Very soft and can easily be transferred from one shoe to another. It doesn't slip inside and can be used in sports.

These are the best cushions for any type of heel pain. They are also good at giving new life of your favorite shoes. I've used them for years and have been very satisfied. My feet are happy too. They fit any type of shoe or sneaker, don't move when you wear them and are extremely comfortable.

Useless. May as well put a layer of Kleenex at the bottom of my shoe. And what’s worse? Can’t return them. Expensive and completely unsupportive.
