Manhattan HDMI (Male) to VGA (Female) Converter, Black 151467

This device successfully sent my Nvidia 1050 ti (made by EVGA) HDMI signal thru my VGA-based KVM to my monitor, including boot sequence. This is no easy feat. Success factors: 1) Active adapter (logic in it to handle conversion, not just wire pass-thru 2) Powered adapter (using a Micro-USB cable, supplied IIRC). 3) HDMI is not 1st priority for Boot sequence by default. Fix it in BIOS AND don't have another cable to the same monitor from the same card. My card had both DVI and HDMI outputs and I had both connected to the monitor. Boot showed up on the DVI interface and the HDMI didn't kick in until the OS got control. Once I disconnected the DVI interface the Boot sequence showed up on the HDMI->VGA interface. For the record, the KVM is also a Manhattan product. I 've been using it at 1600x1200 for years with no trouble.

Works perfectly. I returned other brands of this kind of adapter because I couldn't get the drivers to install, but I had no issues with this one. Plugged it in, and voila, there's my 3rd monitor. Price is reasonable, too. I will look at other Manhattan products in the future.
