Vans Atwood Deluxe, Men Skateboarding Shoes

I purchased these partly to take my order over £20 and thus saving me £4.99 on postage that I was being charged for another item. I happened to come across these on offer for £25 saving £20 on list plus saving the £4.99 on postage I was being charged for the other item. I just happened to need some new trainers and I have owned Vans before so this was a no brainer. I effectively got them for £20. They were delivered very promptly as is usually the case with most Amazon items. They were available in loads of colours (as usuaI I chose boring all black) and half sizes which is vital for me as I am a half size. They have excellent reviews on YouTube and are seemingly very well made and look durable as is normally the case with Vans. I have worn them for a few weeks and have had absolutely no issues at all with them (normally I always wear down one side of the sole very quickly or the heel support collapses almost immediately on some other makes of trainers I have owned but no such problems here). They are a medium width which is good for me but the sole seems slightly thinner than is normally the case with other Vans I have owned so you can feel stones etc to some extent but not so much as to be annoying and they are very grippy. They do not have the thick padding that suede Vans usually have particularly around the heel but they are light and comfortable. All in all I am delighted with the purchase.UPDATE May 2022. Just a fairly small hole in one toe despite me wearing these every day (yes every day) Soles shows some wear but not excessive and they're not quite as comfortable/cushioning as they were when new. They have faded slightly but I think some people use black boot polish to make them look as new but I'm not bothering doing that. Considering treating myself to a new pair of Vans soon when they are discounted again.

Need wearing in a bit, but other than that...very good 👍 love the colour.

After 4 weeks these are literally like an extension to my foot. Perfect driving shoes and great if you need to suddenly run for a train. I need full foot flexible flat but cushioned soles because of awkward kee joints. And now both legs are ache free. Wholly recommend

Great shoe very stylish. I would love to buy more but seem to be out of in different colours stock size 9.5 ?????
