Q: What is the thinnest they will fit and do they stretch ( i would like to use them for art paintbrushes)?

They fit snugly onto a Faber Cattell pencil or aquarelle pencil. I tried them on some watercolour paint brushes and they are slightly loose but tolerable on a size 9 and the biggest I have is a size 12 which just fits providing I put it on from the bristle end. I don’t have the make of the brushes unfortunately so not sure if they are standard sizes. The aperture is 7 to 8 mm and can stretch very slightly.

Yes I believe it would make holding your pen/pencil more comfortable and a better grip so you won’t need to hold the pen/pencil so tight

I don't think so. Looking at pictures of Wacom stylus, the grips look far too small to be able to fit the stylus. The grips are a tight fit on a BiC ball point pen, if the stylus is bigger than that then it's a definite no
