Great quality cotton and very pretty. The black half slip looks fantastic with a maroon mini skirt that I usually wear with leggings, because it is a little too short without! The half slip makes it wearable without leggings and without showing knickers if you bend over!!! And it looks amazing. I also bought the longest ivory, full length slip which was equally pretty and great quality but not quite full enough (or long enough) for the skirt I wanted to wear it with, as I wanted the frilly hem to show beneath the skirt. If you want this affect be sure to measure the length of the skirt you want to wear it with beforehand, s I should have done. Both are fantastic products though and would highly recommend.

I didn't want a petticoat that was extremely poofy or plastic-like, so I wanted one that was made with a starchy cloth, better yet if it had some detail on it. I've put it beneath two of my sundresses--one it fits neatly underneath and you can't see it but the other it hangs out. This is actually great because it looks like the dress is lined with lace at the bottom as a result. It also gives a decent weight to the skirt. Very pleased, and it looks cute! It would depend on the dress, but I could easily see it being able to be shortened by folding the top of the petticoat in on itself to find the desired length if you didn't like the look of lace peeking from below the dress skirt. I did it and it worked well. Very pleased!

Just what I wanted lovely cotton and very pretty , The underskirts fit well , I bought them to go underneath some very thin summer dresses , to stiffen them out a little and they will do very well
