I invested in this product back in August following a year of such anxiety with my hair growth due to a hormonal imbalance. This caused significant hair growth even in areas of my face and as I was plucking them out they got darker and grew back thicker! I think I was shaving almost everyday and constantly breaking out in rashes and getting loads of ingrown hairs. I was sceptical about this product and almost gave in to going to a hair removal clinic and paying a significant amount if money, way more than the £299 I paid for this. I have just completed my 4 treatment (currently every other 2 weeks) and cannot tell you how impressed I am. So far my leg hair has pretty much gone. Whilst I am still having the off hair on my face snd still have growth on my underarms and bikini area it is so much less dense and currently only shaving once or twice a week in between treatments. I am hoping a few months months and I will be completely hair free! The results so far have exceeded my expectations. You need to be realistic, it takes time to work and during the winter I find is a better time to start as you shouldn’t have sun exposure during the treatment, but this product is well worth the money. I personally signed up to pay 5 instalments and this is way more affordable and what’s £60 per month for 5 months for the benefit of having no hair! I’ve not bought a single razor, cream and wax pot since and if you are anything like me I was going through a new razor at least one a month if not more just trying to combat the bikini line rashes. It gave me such bad anxiety and going on holiday would be awful knowing my bumps would be out and let’s face it, it doesn’t make us feel good and looks horrible. I haven’t had a single rash since starting the treatment and cannot wait to put a bikini on next summer and embrace how smooth my skin now is. I cannot rave about this product more if I tried. I have reasonably fair skin and dark brown hair so a good candidate for good results. I do fake tan but I try to do this after my treatment, sometimes I have a little residue still on my skin when I do the treatment but this dosent seem to have impacted the effectiveness. The product is safe for use anywhere and is not painful, the app is really good and helps remind you when your treatment is due and what setting you last used. It’s great for tracking results too.

A bit bulky but comfortable on hands when using. IPL works effectively as long as you follow instructions and use it on according to schedule. Cannot be used wireless but the wire is long enough for use.

I was considering getting one of these for ages, but never did because it's not cheap and a luxury I could do without. However, I am so pleased I decided to treat myself!!! I'm on my 5th treatment now, and my hair has been reduced hugely! It's so easy to use, painless and super quick and convenient. Hair doesn't really grow much at all between treatments. Not quite a five, because armpits aren't as good, and still having to shave one a week or so - but saying that, that is still a huge improvement! (For reference I have black hair and very pale skin)

SO impressed with this as a PCOS girl! Biggest tip is to take progress pics. I’ve been using on my face for 10 weeks and thought I’d not seen much difference until I looked back at pics. Difference is huge! So pleased I bought it. Easy to use with app to keep track of treatments. Great value for money compared to salons. 5 comfort settings (although I do think you see the most progress and time efficiency using level 5)

I rarely write reviews but I know how helpful they are, especially when looking for and investing like this. I’ve had dark facial hair for years, thankfully mostly under the chin, but it has still bothered me and has gotten thicker and more wide spread over the years, despite having paid for laser and IPL treatment in the past. I I have wanted to buy one of these type of things for years, but was never sure if they were worth investing in as they are quite expensive and having bought a home laser kit years ago which did very little, I was sceptical. I’ve only performed one treatment so far with this, however I have noticed a significant slowing of the growth in the hair treated, which is synonymous with the clinic treatments I’ve had in the past. I was tempted to go over the area again at first, as it seemed to be less intense a feeling than the clinic treatments I’d had in the past (I’m using the second highest-highest setting as suggested by the skin tone test). But having waited a week I’m glad I’ve stuck to the instructions, I did cause myself some pigment discolouration with the laser kit years ago by doing this so I would suggest following the instructions fully with this. My hair is quite thick and I honestly wasn’t expecting to see results like that straight away, and of course it’s early days and I’ll have to see how the regrow things is affected, but I think the result so far is a promising sign that the device is doing what it’s meant to. I’m only one week after my first treatment so I’ll come back and update this review in a few weeks once more results are clear, but if you’re like me and wanting to get rid of or at least find a better way to manage unwanted facial hair, this could be a great option... as long as you have the right skin tone and hair colour etc. So far I would recommend this as a good option for people looking to reduce hair growth. I don’t expect to completely get rid of it for good, but even professional treatment won’t do that. And at the half the price of 1 course of treatment this looks like it could be a much more cost effective option too! UPDATE: 2 weeks after my second treatment, most of the hair on my chin area has gone completely! I’m really quite surprised and impressed by the effectiveness of this device, I was expecting to have to wait longer for these kind of results. So far I’m very happy with it and would recommend it for those with similar problem facial hair, with the right colour and skin tone of course.

I was genuinely excited to try this Philips IPL laser machine after reading the product description and paying such a high price for what I expected to be a reliable, premium device. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. After placing my order, the machine arrived promptly, which initially gave me confidence. But to my shock, the device stopped working on the second day of use. For something this expensive, I expected far better durability and performance. The quality feels surprisingly poor, especially considering the price point. What frustrates me most is that I invested in this machine believing it would last and deliver results. Instead, I’m left with a device that no longer turns on and is completely unusable. This has made me feel let down and honestly questioning the quality control behind this product. I strongly believe that for the amount of money spent, customers deserve a machine that works properly and lasts more than a couple of uses. I am requesting a full refund or a brand-new replacement unit, because the one I received is clearly faulty and does not meet the quality standards advertised. I hope the company will take responsibility for this issue, as I would like to believe this was just a defective unit and not a reflection of the overall product line. I expect prompt support to resolve this disappointing experience.

Hey! I guess you are wondering if you should invest in this hair removal machine right? I wanted to do an honest review of my experience as a completely normal customer (not paid, not gifted, just a normal gorl) Long story short I’ve been waxing for years, it’s now got to the point where it’s just too painful (thanks to my new collagen supplement.. my head hair is wonderful, but my body hair has doubled too!) So, do I painfully wax forever? Shave? and get extremely irritated with red itchy bumps within hours… OR do I invest in myself and purchase one of these cool machines hmm.. LETS DO IT I say! Ladies, I’m actually blown away beyond belief, so let me explain the wonders of this device, and also point out all the other negative reviews which I now know are incorrect. It states to use every two weeks.. as people have, hence why they don’t see results! I’m a risk taker, so what did I do? Yep, once a week on the HIGHEST setting grade 5. And by me doing this machine once a week on grade 5 the highest, after 2-3 sessions, NO JOKE I now have no armpit hair!!! It’s gone!!! My legs, super patchy which is great as it shows it’s working!! AND I actually did a full Brazilian (it’s not recommended on the labia, again, I’m a risk taker) pretty much 80% of the hair, officially disappeared! And I’ve only done it 3 times (so once a week and now I’m at the 3 week mark I brought in July not at all long ago) Please, DO invest, bin the wax and razors and feel like a naked rat mole, it’s bloody lovely! No more shaving ankles for the gym leggings woooo! Also just so you know, I’m telling the truth and can confidently say this as I am autistic and only speak facts on facts babe. Do you wanna know the pain? Lemme tell yah, so imagine a metal spoon you’ve just made a cuppa tea with, and you’ve pulled it out and for 1 second dabbed it on your skin, that’s what a number 5 feels like on this device, All the other settings feels like a warm kiss, quite nice actually, thehe. About me I’m pale asf, dark brown hair, 3 hairs grow out each follicle as I have endometriosis. Bought this for my wife as she was turning into a hairy animal and it has worked wonders. She is happy and I am happy The results seem to be permanent as I've not seen her using it again for a long time.
