I Have a short hair cut falling just below the ears. Love this spinning dryer as gives my hair lots of volume without having to hold a round brush and a separate dryer. Bought one for home and to keep at my daughters when visiting there!

My hair has never looked better. This reminds me of a spinning rotating heated styler that I had years ago, then they stopped making them just as mine broke. I couldn't replace it. I've tried several kinds, but they just didn't work. This one does. There are two buttons, one for use when you are doing your left side, and the other for the right side. You can flip the hair down, or up. Somehow just by accident, I made a cascade of curls. I loved it! I hope I can figure out how to do that again. Instead of frizzy hair, the spinning or rotating heated brush left my hair shiny and with lots of volume. I usually have trouble with the back of my hair, but the styler made it easier. It also took MUCH less time than usual to dry my hair. I'm not sure why. It might have been because it was fun and the time just seemed to go by faster. IMPORTANT: The styler grabs hair firmly, which really helps with styling, then it releases it. Don't be alarmed when it grabs your hair. Just give it a second and it will let go. The fact that it holds it firmly gives a smoother finish. NOTE FROM MY EXPERIENCE: Don't put too much product in your hair to make it shine. (1) You don't need it because the spinning action adds shine; (2) too much product causes it to take a long time to dry; (3) you don't want to gunk up the brush. I ended up looking like I just got out of the shower or had over-conditioned my hair. I learned that I don't need extra product, or at least not very much. A little goes a long way with this styler. I'm really considering ordering another one in case this one wears out and they decide to change this one or stop making it.

The first one I bought was great until it shorted out at 10 months. Loved the way my hair styled so easily with the spinning hot air brush that I ordered this second one. This one shorted out after 4 months. Hot air brushes that didn't spin lasted years, but those are hard to find, now, in a 2" barrel, are reliable, and have mostly good reviews. I've read hundreds of reviews for multiple brands and types of stylers and quality is THE issue. It's a shame that products for women have so many quality issues. I'll begrudgingly go back to using a round brush and blow dryer.

I have a daughter with naturally curly hair that is fine, and completely out of control (bed head) if it isn't tamed with hair products. When I came across this item looking for a round brush, I instantly purchased it. It has made it much easier for me to dry both of my girls' hair (twin 6 year olds). To make the fine haired one look nice, I use this and it creates a nice bob look for her short hair. It would be nice if her naturally curly hair didn't frizz and look awful, but it does - and this product makes her hair look perfect! My other daughter has very thick hair that is straight as a board, even the hair itself is very thick. It's also very hard to dry her hair, period. I use this on her to dry the ends and the hair towards the back of her head. It doesn't create the bob haircut like it does for finer hair - I would need a curling iron to do that for her thick, thick hair. However, it does work in drying the parts I can't ever seem to get with a traditional dryer. The rotation works clockwise and counter-clockwise. It has a warm setting, a hot setting, and a cool setting. It rotates best on the warmest (hot/high) setting. Rotates slower on the warm/low setting. The reason I took off a star was that it will not rotate in the cool setting. Why??? The best way to set hair, as I believed, was to heat it, and then cool it off fast to set the curl. Maybe I'm wrong. I just don't understand why it wouldn't rotate in the cool setting. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed and am happy I got it. I would recommend it!

conair made this item with both 1 1/2in. & 2in. barrels.. some products come with both barrels and some only come with the 2in... its hard to find just the 1 1/2in. barrel anymore..

I have been using this product for over 5-6 years. I recently ordered my third one and I am thinking to order a spare one in case they stop selling it. They last 2-2,5 years on the average but for the price I paid, I am still happy. I have shoulder length wavy hair which gets frizzy easily. After shower I let my hair air dry for 10-15 minutes. If I am in a hurry I use a regular hair dryer to get rid of excess water. Then I shape my hair with Infinitypro for 10 minutes. With the brush that turns both ways I can shape it both inwards and outwards easily. Also it does not burn the hair or cause embarrassing accidents by burning my face like flat iron. I always get compliments for my hairstyle. For shoulder length hair it is perfect, for longer hair it might get a little tricky to manage the rolling function. Also you might need to work with smaller portions of hair which will increase the overall drying time. Bottom line is, this is a great product and I fully recommend it.

It works well, however, the brush is 2", not 1.5", as advertised. It makes a difference with shorter hair.

This item is not compatible with UK 240 volt systems. Why are Amazon selling such items that do not work?

I like my hair spinner. I have short hair and it works well. It takes some getting used to though as it is very bulky, not super light and there are two ways to spin and you have to work around which it is need. I find my hair softer with this as well. Only downfall is I don't see anywhere that you can clean the bristles themselves without damage the motor. So if you are using this with product, it will build up over time and you may not get the desired results. If there is any suggestion on how to safely clean the bristles without damage, would love to know. Thanks.

Had this product for 7-8 years and was very happy with it. It stopped rolling and I bought a new one. Arrive quickly and good packaging. Thank you.

I ordered this product because it was described as a SPIN styler. The brush DOES NOT SPIN. This cost $173.48 and to me is useless. I asked them to provide me with the address so I could get a full refund. They have NOT responded. This was an expensive and unfair situation.
