I'm giving this a rare (for me) 5 star rating. Well made product, obviously designed by people who actually use it.Pro:- You have to dig for it, but they do have one model with warm white light (3000 deg Kelvin color), rather than all the others have that annoyingly harsh blueish-white (5000 K). Love the warm white, don't recommend the 5000 K.- Love the little arms that each light is attached to. Gives ability to move/point each light easily with confidence it will hold but not too hard to move. Better than others I have installed over the years.- Love the single screw in middle of fixture, attachment to ceiling box. Just install the standard metal bar across ceiling box, and light fixture screws into the middle. Easy peasy.Con:Only thing I would change is the screws. As usual with screws from China, if they meet with Any resistance, you will strip the screw head. Guess how I know that! Wasn't enough to drop a star, but just wanted to warn you.

I was looking for an easy to install dusk-to-dawn to replace an unreliable motion sensor par 38 light system. This one is pretty inexpensive, the LEDs use just 28 watts compared to 110 watts of halogen lights they replaced.1. Easy to install, comes with a nice gasket and fits a normal outdoor lighting (round) receptacle. The instructions say it takes 30-60 minutes, but it only took 10 minutes, even in the cold weather.2. Warm but quite bright light, although not quite [twice] as bright as my other 15 watt LED post lights, but illuminates a good size area (40 x 40 ft) adequately [and better than the halogens] which was the objective.3. Seems very well made. Time will tell.

This Chinese made security light is well designed and the three head arrangement helps to get the light aimed where you want it. This model doe not have a motion sensor or a day/night sensor so you need to turn it off or on using a wall switch. There are two models of this product. One model has a "cool white" LED light and the other has a "warm white" (3000k) light. The 3000k version is not quite as bright but looks more like the old incandescent light in regard to the wavelength. For maximum brightness choose the "cool white" version. These lights may be used indoors or outdoors. I have of the "cool white" lights in my barn and am in the process of switching from halogen lights to these LED lights. The warm white led units are being used in a large spa/sunroom. They are about 17 feet above the floor and illuminate the room well enough that I can easily read a book at night. These two light arrays replace an old track light system that used eight 100 watt floodlamps. Caution: This unit requires an octagon electrical box for mounting. A bar is included with the light that mounts diagonally across the two screw hole on the octagon box. At the centerpoint of the bar is a screw that is used to hold the light in place. If the bar is not level with your wall surface you will have a problem getting the mounting "nut" to mate up with the screw. You may need to get a longer screw from the hardware store.Be sure to bring the bar with you to the store to make sure that the new screw has the same size and threads as the one included on the bar.

Ok, install was somewhat easy. Reason I say this is because I thought I had a faulty light as I will explain. As I was installing said light power was off, I am not using the dusk to dawn feature and using the cap cover. After installing the light and turning the power back on I didn't have any light on the outside with the cap over the sensor. So I installed the second light of the same make and model. And still no light. I checked the breaker box and for voltage and those were good. So I undid the light from outside and double checked the wiring. As I turned the light upside down and the photo sensor got more into the darkness of the overhang the light came on. Rotated it back to the normal position and the light went out. Ah, the photosenosor is bad right.. But no it's not, it is the little plastic cap covering the sensor, it does not have enough color pigment in the cap to stop light transferring through the cap. So I just used some black electrical tape and covered the sensor and put the cap back on. And guess what, the light works as normal now. My guess is that there was not enough color concentrate added when the caps were made. I say that because I have about 20 years in the plastics industry field. I think that the cap was still semi-translucent and allowing light to come through. That's why only 4 stars instead of 5.

The price for quality is right on for this light. It's bright but not overly bright. More inline with the halogen bulb equivalent that it replaced. I appreciate the warm white color vs the cool white that I see in most led outdoor lights. Easy install and metal base. Used for about 3 hours of on time and no issues yet. I know it's not much but it's all I got.Update: I've now owned this light for a few months and still no issues. I'm in upstate NY where the cold and snow are common all winter and the light worked flawlessly all winter and now into the Sumner. Our dog goes out every night so this light has seen some serious use. Probably 1000 hours or more on it now with absolutely no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another when this does die.
