My new besties!
I love these pads. I found that I needed to place them on my feet somewhat precisely for the right balance of comfort and support. But give it twenty or thirty reps and you'll get the hang of it. I did. I was confused about a few points from reading the reviews, so let me tell you what I wish I'd read: these DO stick to the underside of your feet, if you put the sticky side against your skin. Don't worry -- they also DO come off very easily. Yes, they are reusable. No, you don't have to wash them, but you will want to, sooner or later. When you do -- just gentle soap and water -- let them air dry, and they will stick to your feet again just fine. Now, if you sweat a lot through your feet (and don't we all under the right circumstances?) they will lose adhesion to your skin. So, if you plan to sweat, I recommend combining each pad with an arch support band, which will help keep it in place. The left/right indicators seem backwards to me, which makes me wonder if the manufacturer expects you to stick the pads to your shoe rather than your feet. I don't see how that would work, but hey, I could be missing a trick. Me, I just ignore the right/left markings, and do what I need to do to support each of my metatarsal arches. With these under my feet, I can jog -- even sprint -- on my wood floor, barefoot, when before I could barely jog in place at all. I've used them when dancing long periods of time, and they really help my feet hold up to demand. When it comes to my feet, price is not a big issue -- I'll do what I need to do. So the fact that these are not expensive is, yeah, awesome, but that they work so well is the really big payoff.

Helps with ball of foot pain
My orthotics haven’t been cutting it with recent pain in the balls of my feet and I had an upcoming trip planned with plenty of walking on the itinerary. These were very helpful since I was short of time to have the orthotics remade. They are easy to use, and very comfortable. Our trip to Morocco included a camel ride in the dunes in the desert where my shoes got filled with sand and these gel pads, of course, had some sticking to them. No problem, though, as it was easy to wash them off with soap and water and once they were dry they were useable again. They are also helpful in shoes that I can’t use my orthotics in. They stick to the shoes or the ball of the foot. Sometimes they slip out of position, but it’s easy enough to reposition them. They aren’t a permanent solution to my foot issue, but wow, they really saved the day(s) on my trip! And they are so inexpensive, which makes it a no brainer to give these a try if you need cushioning for your feet.

Pretty good but firm
They helped - but are a strange shape and are more firm than I expected. I wish they were a little larger and a bit softer. But I will use these and they did provide pain relief for the balls of my feet

Experiment to find cushion that works best for particular problem.
DUrable, & adhere well to sole of foot. Would also stick to insole of shoe, if one wanted to use the that way (which might be the best way, leaving one set in each pair of shoes - though I don't think this is what manufacturer intends. Sticky side collects bits of pedal detritus, and is difficult to clean, though one can wash it. Stuff sticks determinedly. DOes cushion area of foot's sole. For problems I personally have with my feet, after trying about 5 possible cushioning items, I find Fomibrobri metatarsil pads to be most helpful. Probably best to try a variety of items & find which works best for yourself. Each case is likely different.

Need perfect placement
Wow these are great! And re-stick makes them priceless. I stick them to vionic active insoles inside of vionic omni-walkers. It took several tries to get the proper placement, but once you do, they stick fine, are comfortable, and do the job. I stuck them on the bottom of my feet to walk around barefoot. They did not stick well for me, because I could not get proper placement on my bare foot. For comfort, I need that pad all the way up to where my toes connect to my feet, so that edge goes up to the tip of my toes. I dare not cut them because I do not want to lose any part of that sticker's surface area. For walking barefoot, taping them is a bad idea- residue. So when I stick them to my feet, in the sweet spot, I wear ankle compression socks or slippers. I wore them on the beach with socks and crocks, through sand and surf, and they held perfectly. Just dry the socks, rinse the pads, and you're good to go the next day. The reason they do not stick so well on bare feet is that your feet sweat, whereas insoles do not. Please do not pester me to answer any more questions. I have stated my full opinion here, will answer no more questions, and yes, I would buy another set, although I cannot see how I could destroy these.
