Fresh and very good quality. Good deep yellow coloring. I make turmeric tea paste for my poor circulation. It works great. Turmeric Tea Paste 2 1/2 T. of turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp. of black pepper and 1 cup of honey. If too bitter you can add 1 T. of Ceylon cinnamon and or ginger. To make paste I used a1 cup canning jar & filled it in layers. A layer of honey with a T. of turmeric & 1/2 tsp. of black pepper another layer and so on. I then mixed it up with a knife in same jar, making clean up very quick. Put 1 to 2 T. in cup, add boiling water & stir. Store remaining paste in refrigerator.

I definitely recommend this Turmeric Powder product. Besides being a good product, it's excellent quality, comes in a good size (one pound), and I love its great taste and quality.

Fantastic quality. We use this everyday in different ways. Even put some in the dogs food. It's good for them. The color is exactly how tumeric is supposed to look. Love it

Cúrcuma la verdad me gusta probar cúrcuma de varias y compré esta para probarla y la verdad me gustó mucho porque en primera porque es orgánica en segunda porque la verdad me gustó el tamaño y el precio tercera porque me ha hecho bien en realidad la cúrcuma es un desinflamatorio muy bueno que lo puedes tomar y aparte de eso pues condimenta también la comida le da un buen sabor a mi arroz cuando lo preparo le pongo un poquito y agarra ese color amarillito que tanto me gusta cuando hago arroz con mariscos esa es una buena opción para que se vea bonito agradable el arroz y la verdad yo le doy cinco estrellas porque se lo merece

High quality turmeric, that passes the water test. It lasts for a long time. It is a spice that is very versatile. You can put it in pretty much anything and even in your smoothies. Don't forget to mix it with black pepper for maximum absorption. Delicious with some lemon and paprika. Also very healthy. A lot of health benefits. It is the King of spices for a reason. They also used it in India as currency. It should be in everyone's diet. Beware pregnant women and people that take high blood pressure pills.

I've purchased Jiva Organic Turmeric Powder from amazon a few times in the past years. I use it to make "Golden Paste", which is combination of Tumeric, Coconut Oil, and fresh ground black pepper. It's an amazing anti-inflammatory and works quickly. I've been able to almost completely stop using ibuprofen for joint and lower back pain because of it. Anyway, the ingredients have to be fresh in order to be effective and I've never had a problem with this brand. I was happy to see these smaller packages as an add-on item for a good price of $4.79. I bought 4 at once. Because they're individually packaged it should stay fresher even longer.

I don't really use this as a spice. I use this for health reasons, stirring about a tablespoon of the turmeric powder along with quarter teaspoon of black pepper into a bit of olive oil in the bottom of a cup. Tastes a bit like a spicy nut butter = pretty good flavour. This powdered form is a really finely ground compared to others turmeric powders, not sure if that's a good thing. Too soon to say if this turmeric powder works as well as the brand I was using. The price of this is very good which if you are using a lot of it like I am, is great.
