Chelsea Doll Cottage Wooden Dollhouse with 16 Accessories, Working Shutters, for 5-Inch Dolls

This dollhouse is amazing. It’s a great size, very sturdy, and the finishes are fantastic. It comes unassembled and you do need a tool to put the screws in place, but it’s not difficult at all. I bought it for my 2-year-old nieces for Christmas and they absolutely loved it. It does not come with dolls, so you’ll need to purchase those separately. I highly recommend it, especially considering the great price for the quality.

Bought for our granddaughter. This is a nice dollhouse and I assembled it on Dec 24, 2025, in less than 1hr. It is very sturdy and has a little weigh to it. It goes together easily and the fit and finish is quite good. I used a phillips screwdriver and found the whole process relaxing. The instructions are also pretty good and if you separate your parts and read through the simple instruction manual, it is an easy job. Just pay attention to the orientatation of the panels. There is also a guy on YouTube who has a very good assembly video for this dollhouse. I watched it twice and I had no problems with assembly. His YouTube channel is DoItMyselfGarage and it is this same Chelsea dollhouse and it was purchased from Amazon. As of this review, his video is at least 3yrs old. A couple of things have changed: First, the windows and the door are not pre-installed. It was easy and I had zero difficulty. Just snap in at an angle, one edge and then the other. If you try to push it straight in, you'll have difficulty. They are flexible which makes it easier. Second, the screws are no longer colored coded at least in the house we received. They are in a clearly labeled package, but the screw heads are now all silver instead of being color matched to the individual panels of the house. It is really no big deal and if I had not seen his YouTube video, I would not have noticed. But, his color matched screw heads are definitely a nice touch. The house is 28" tall and 13" deep. So, it can tip over. Again, it has some weight to it and would hurt a small child. It does come with a wall attachment kit to prevent tip over.

Amazing for our almost 3 year old. Not super quick to build but my husband took maybe 45 minutes but my 7 year old was helping. Very cute, definitely worth the buy. Highly recommend. Not outrageously expensive but so cute. Furniture is good quality too no chips or anything and everything is wooden so it is very nice.

This dollhouse is very sturdy and cute for the price. It is wood and mdf, not paperboard and plastic. It took 45 min to put together, instructions were very clear and everything was well labeled. Overall very happy with it for the price. -Use a short Philips head screwdriver if you have it as there are a couple tight spots for screws. -Peel the numbered stickers off slowly, they are not easy peel and will leave residue -Due to the nature of mdf, the corners are very fragile. A couple of the corners were damaged and print was peeling off but for the most part these areas were concealed by other parts so it wasn’t too bad -The stairs did not fit as shown in the instructions. Like at all. Not sure if mine were defective or if this is all kits, but I had to just lean them against the floors. They do not line up with the holes for the pegs and I don’t feel like making new holes and possibly damaging the mdf.

We bought this KidKraft Doll Cottage for our two year old daughter as her first "real" doll house. I wanted a sturdy house that was not too big and didn't require hours of assembly and was pleased with the house I chose. I did find this house on sale during Cyber sales week and the discount was my deciding factor for purchasing this model doll house, but now owning the home I would purchase it at the regular price as well. Arrival - Product arrived quickly using standard shipping and showed up in discrete packaging which was great since it was a gift for our little one. It is pretty heavy and I did have to have my hubby assist me in carrying it up our town homes 3 flights of stairs. Assembly - The doll house was completely unassembled, but came nicely packaged with easy to understand directions. My favorite part of the assembly process was the fact that each screw, nut and bolt was individually packaged and was labeled with a letter that corresponded to a letter in the instruction manual. This was so much easier for me to understand than the "usual" millions of random screws mixed together in one plastic bag. The assembly did take some time, maybe an hour in all? I didn't do it all in one night though so it may have been less time, but the directions were simple and everything went together smoothly. A small Allen wrench is included, but you will need a screw driver for tightening some of the screws. I had no leftover screws or pieces at the end and it looked just like the image on the box! What I liked compared to other doll houses I has researched: (pros) - windows/door open and close and already came assembled/attached to their adjoining wall piece - outside and inside walls of the house already have the stickers applied, no need to mess around with stickers after assembly - standing at about 2 and a half feet tall this doll house is roomy enough for my toddler, but does not tower over her or take up our entire living room - house included cute, sturdy wooden furniture for every room of the house at no extra charge Things I would improve, but were not deal breakers for me: (cons) - the exterior/interior is not painted and is stickers which could possibly peel down the road - the rear of the house is not finished (no stickers) but if it's kept up against a wall no one will ever know this - the 2 staircases in the house do not permanently attach to the floors (just have two pegs on them that sit in holes on the floor) and can come out of place easily, but I fixed them with my handy glue gun All in all I am happy with this purchase and even more importantly, my daughter is thrilled with this doll house. She plays with it every day and the few "cons" I pointed out don't effect how much she enjoys this new toy. I do recommend this doll house to anyone with younger kiddos.

My daughter LOVED it!! Setting it up was easier than I expected. I love that the doll house and the furnitures are all wooden pieces.

Ho acquistato questo prodotto perchè mia figlia aveva richiesto per Natale una casa per le bambole. Non volevo prenderne una di plastica che poi dopo poco di rompono. Così ho visto questa e mi piaceva. Lìarticolo è arrivato nei tempi previsti. Arriva smontata, ma le isrtruzioni sono facili e in poco tempo si monta. E' bellissima con dei bei colori. Anche gli accessori sono fatti bene. Mia figia ci gioca tutti i giorni.
