Works very well! Has calming effect and longevity.

Within a few minutes, the reeds absorbed the essential oil and effectively dispersed it throughout the room. I read some reviews that stated that the reeds didn't work for them, but perhaps the problem was that the oil didn't have enough fragrance, or the user didn't have a sufficient amount of oil in the container. I highly recommend this item, it's a great product that's very well priced.

UPDATE: Though the scent from my oil is more noticeable with these they also alter the scent. Not a huge deal but enough that I'm trying a natural reed (archipelago - same makers of the oil I'm using). In the end, I'm thinking it's just the lack of air flow so I'll probably also keep my small rechargeable fan. Amazon has many great and inexpensive small, rechargeable fans. I'm using the Zuvas Desk Fan (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08T8TTVHC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I just learned that a synthetic reed is better for diffusing non-alcohol based oils. I bought these for non-alcohol based oil and it's not diffusing the scent very well. Not the fault of reed itself but my understanding of how all this works. I've ordered some synthetic cotton fiber reed from the same company and I'm hoping they will better diffuse my oil. In the meantime I'm using a tiny, adjustable and rechargeable (hence wireless) fan to help disperse the scent. Who knows I may need the fan with the synthetic reeds, too.

I bought the 10" black and beige pack. It was delivered to a wrong address at first, but it finally made it to my front door. Just for starters I poured some peppermint oil in a bottle (small amount for now since I had the 30ml bottle near), and by end of day 1 going into day 3 my whole house smells strong of peppermint. It doesn't bother me or my husband. I plan to use it outside in my back patio area as an aid for repelling bugs, but I may keep a smaller bottle in the house (and/or use less sticks) for its aroma therapy benefits as well. This is my first buy of this product, and I'll buy again when I can as needed. This is also my first go at making a custom reed diffuser. I bought this small glass bottle with it's wooden beaded accent at a dollar store. I am inspired. love reed diffusers especially when they are fragrant enough for what you want it for. However, I think the peppermint oil itself is just strong. I can possibly update this review later after I try the reeds with other fragrant oils.

These sticks do not absorb the scented liquid. After a few weeks, I think the sticks are starting to mold. 🤢🤮 I threw them away
