I admit seemed a bit like it was watered down and two spicy. But it's like there was no sauce substance to it

Tastes great but the best thing is that this isthe only brand I can find with NO High Fructose Corn Syrup!

Since i wrote the original review, I've experimented with it. I added 1/4th teaspoonful of guar gum thickener to 1 Cup of the sauce and that really helped it thicken up. (If you are not familiar with guar gum, it's a powder you can buy at some grocery stores or specialty shops. It's best used in cold food items. Heat breaks it down. So putting it in this cocktail sauce is a perfect use for it. It thickens up quickly, in just a minute or two.) Now I've had the opportunity to taste it on chilled shrimp and I find it's fits my taste pretty well. I would say it is fairly similar to Cross and Blackwell. My original review is below: It tastes a bit watered down and the texture is limp. It won't be very good to dip shrimp in. The sauce will run right off. I think the flavor is "ok", but could use just a bit more horseradish. I really miss Cross abd Blackwell's brand of cocktail sauce! If any one knows of a good substitute for it, I'd sure like to know about it!

I gave this 5 stars so it would be at the top of readers, but its really 1 star at best. Oh, its a good buy ... but its AWFUL. I tried it out & it tastes TERRIBLE. I was mad at myself for this nasty purchase ( it has no hi-fructose corn syrup, fillers, or MGO etc. ... but it also has NO TASTE !!.) what made me really mad - at myself - is that I ordered TWO BOTTLES !! ...Really? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is a great organic product. This is the only product of cocktail sauce I have found that is organic and it didn't cost much more than non-organic. The quality and fact that it is organic is worth a little bit more money-wise. Definitely recommend!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: FOOLISHNESS. I was gullible & Stupid enough to "buy off" on the many "Pro" or GREAT reviews of this product. Folks, if you are avid seafood Lovers & KNOW THE DIFFERENCE between Good & Bad stuff simply keep your money in your pocket on this crap...'and that's exactly what it is CRAP! My Wife and I tried if on deep fried shrimp as soon as the 2 bottles came in...we tried it, looked at each other & started shaking our heads. It's NASTY! Cross & Blackwell? was The Best on the market until Smuckers took the Company over and started messing around with the product until stores simply quite carrying the stuff and that portion of Smuckers is now Out of Business.
