I usually use Nexus Shampoo and Conditioner or sometimes Aldi sells Pantene and I get that. This one blows them away! A tiny amount softened my dry curly hair and it feels good, smells good. I LOVE IT! And here is the thing... if that isn't enough, it's free of nasty chemicals! That little tiny green symbol on the front, bottom, right of the bottle means that it is clean! Here is the description from EWG of CLEAN KIDS (banana): "This product bears the EWG VERIFIED™ mark, meaning that the product meets EWG’s strictest standards for health and safety. It avoids any of the ingredients on EWG’s “Unacceptable List” and provides full transparency of ingredients, including fragrance." EWG tests for: Cancer causing, Allergies & Immunotoxicity, Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity, and then any use Restrictions. So this product really is super clean. Add to that it works BETTER than the ramped up chemical stuff, this is a no brainer. I wish I knew about this stuff years ago. I’M IN LOVE!!!!!!! My hair is so soft, and smells so good! I’ve been looking for a clean conditioner that also works well and this stuff is incredible!

Amazing for my toddler's very curly hair. It dries so curly and smooth and is also way easier to detangle in the am.

If I could give this six stars I would. I was looking everywhere for a conditioner with less toxic ingredients, that would work on fine and low porosity wavy hair. Using this product we can go many days between conditioning days, and my child's hair stays silky and detangled. It definitely smells like bananas so if you need totally unscented this isn't for you. It is a natural scent though, not "chemically." I hope this company never changes the formula. This is good stuff.

I love using the EWG skin deep database to find the cleanest possible products for my kids. My daughter has curly hair, so I wanted to find a conditioner to help keep her curls shiny and defined. This was the only EWG verified product available under kids conditioners, and I’m so happy to say it works amazingly! It smells so good - makes you wonder why other companies use harmful ingredients in their fragrance formulas when they could just use things like banana extract and have it smell as good as this. The bottle is actually a decent size too and a little goes a long way (especially with a 1 year old) so I feel like it’s a good value. No complaints and highly recommended!

Expensive but really is one of few hair products with 100% clean/not suspicious ingredients. Smell can get overwhelming so I wouldn't recommend for people with breathing issues. Works surprisingly well for 3c type hair. On a seperate note I always use my conditioner as a leave in, so when it comes to keeping hair moisturized, its average. I know it isn't made for that but unfortunately I haven't found a single leave in that is actually completely 100% non toxic/not containing questionable ingredients

Our favorite conditioner for our 5 year old daughter. It is spendy but works great and she loves the smell so less resistance to it. I wish the pumps worked better but the product is great!

MOST Shampoos and conditioners available on the market today contain chemicals derived from the protein in coconut, the one that many people with coconut allergies are sensitive to.... and this one does NOT have any of those chemicals. This is literally the only conditioner that we have found that allows her to condition without breaking out all over her body with eczema. She is a teenager. The banana scent is strong if smelled in the bottle but does not leave a heavy banana smell in your hair (maybe a little if you stick your nose right into the hairline lol). It's not cheap, like other mainstream conditioners, and it's not frothy/lathery like traditional ones as well, but it works really nicely and keeps her hair looking soft and manageable. While her hair is straight, it is one of those kinds of textures that tangles easily, so she loves having a good conditioner to keep it healthy and easy to brush. I highly recommend this to anyone with a coconut allergy - and honestly, for anyone!

Found this when looking for a good ewg-verified conditioner for my kids. It was the only one I could find with exceptional reviews, and for some reason, I could only find it on Amazon.ca I bit the bullet and $60 for this conditioner. I've been using it sparingly to make it worth it and a little does go a long way. It's a great conditioner and I love that I can leave it in, because that's just easier with kids who fuss over having their hair rinsed. And I also feel like I'm getting more moneys worth when I'm not washing it out. It makes me kids hair soft, and relatively manageable. And fortunately, I found it at well.ca for $21.50! Now I feel like I can afford to use it in my long thick locks as well. Long story short, great product but don't buy it here!
