I put one on an aviator style fur cap that had just ties. It easily accomodated both strings, looks nice and works well.

I have been searching for a lock for my oversized plastic shoelace type end of cords on most pants. This is the first one with holes big enough to put them through! I'm very happy with them. Many suppliers don't advertise the size of the hole in mm and inches. That would help the decision of which to buy. These locks have good size of holes.
