This worked. Mixed with warm/hot water. Left covered for 5 hours. Applied all over the hair and left for 5 hours. Covered all my greys. First time using henna the correct way. I did not use indigo after but maybe I'll try next time. It left greys a brown orange. Day 4 now and the orange has faded a little so looks more of a brown with orange shimmer in the light. I've read that the orange will fade more over the next few days. As it's my first use will see how much orange fades out as to know whether I should use the indigo next time. I do not want black but more of a dark brown with red/orange hue. My locs were definitely looking and feeling fuller so did make my hair thicker. There was a lot of flaky henna residue left in hair. Noticed after shaking my hair it was dropping out but could not physically see it looking at my hair. Maybe I never washed it out efficiently enough but will give it another good wash in a couple of days. Happy with the product as my greys usually appear after 2 weeks of using chemical dye so I needed a more natural way of colouring my hair. Think I've found it now. Will definitely keep using and play around with the shades until I find out what works etc.

The only thing I use to cover my greys.. Cheap product with lots and lots of benefits for my hair.. No hairfall no dandruff Hairs are growing thicker.. I love this henna a 100gm packet lasts me very long for about 4-5 uses as I don't have long hair.. Definitely recommend it.

I found that this didn't give as vibrant a red colour as other hennas I have used. It was somewhat muted despite following the instructions down to a T, the price was good but I wouldn't use this brand again.

I have used this seller for the first time and I am quite impressed. Since last few years I have been using a different organic company but gradually the quality of their product deteriorated and also there was no variety available in natural foods hence I decided to switch. This henna gives a beautiful mahogany shade if used on its own. Seller was very courteous and send us a few great recipes for thick & bouncy locks. If you only add amla , reetha, shikakai to any natural henna / indigo / cassia etc it is bound to give you wonder results. I would not recommend this product as a mehndi for hair as turns greys orange don’t waste your money
