1LB. 100% Hawaii Hawaiian Kona Roasted Coffee Beans

I'm pretty sensitive to acid and aftertaste from ordinary coffee...I don't drink tons of it, so I want to make every cup count. As to the flavor, (I know; taste is subjective...) I like it better even than Jamacan Blue Mountain, with the added benefit of not busting my bank account. This coffee is smooth, rich, and buttery, and doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste on your tongue. It has a rich, almost chocolatey taste to it. The whole beans are a bonus because they allow me to control the strength of my brew by choosing the courseness of the grind. I have an old fashioned hand grinder and the delicious scent that rises up from the grinder and the from my cup is just intoxicating. Inhale, and ahhhhh...bliss. If you love Kona coffee, I would avoid the iffyness of "blends" and choose this instead.

Smooth blend, well roasted, not burned; the black velvet Gift bag mine came in last time I ordered was perfect for gift giving to my husband for his birthday. I’m reordering for Christmas, although it’s not being offered with the velvet gift bag this time. Hubby is the coffee lover, I’m a tea lover, but I do enjoy a cup of Kona every now and then.

This is my second purchase of this coffee. All I have to do is start grinding it and my mouth starts to water. The wonderful aroma cannot be beat. My wife even comments from another room how good it smells while brewing. The flavor is rich, the roast is ideal, it's always fresh, and there is no acidity in the aftertaste, I've tried some other less expensive Kona coffees but keep coming back to this one. Highly recommended.

Horrible-stale. Worst tasting coffee I’ve ever had. Paid 40$ for a pound of rancid coffee beans. Obviously Not Kona coffee. Do not buy. It’s a scam.

I grew up in Hawaii, and know how a good kona coffee should taste. This coffee used to be so damned delicious, but it's not the same as when I first discovered it in 2021. Now I find the roast to be too dark rather than medium-bodied like a kona roast should be. It no longer resembles the fine kona coffee it used to be, and is way too expensive for being just another over-roasted coffee bean like Starbucks. I'd give it one star, but I'm throwing them a bone for having formerly been my goto favorite kona coffee. And, I guess I'll never know if they fix it, because I'm done buying it. Alas.
