The perfect soft gold with great coverage
This is my favorite for a soft gold leaf project that's too detailed for normal gold leaf papering. Great product. Goes a long way- and the coverage is MUCH thicker than most gold paints- so you need less coats for opaque color

Really good gold leaf imitation!
I was going to buy gold leaf sheets to cover an aging chandelier. I realized it would be very costly given the various shapes which needed to be covered, so I opted for this oil-based paint. It is gorgeous! It does look almost like gold leaf. Do be aware, you need to clean up with paint thinner (this includes your brushes). And you will need to use an acrylic or oil based polyurathane coating to prevent this gold paint for tarnishing. I opted for acrylic, for the ease of it, but it did leave a slight haze. Nothing most will notice, as the chandelier hangs high, but if it were something closer to eye level, I'd go with a non-yellowing oil based poly. Wish I'd taken before photos, but the chandelier had tarnished so severely it was a dark brown. As you can see, it's really lovely now! I'm thrilled with this paint!

Beautiful gold gilding paint
My go to gold gilding paint for working with shells. I love the vibrancy of the gold.

Gorgeous absolutely love this product
This product is amazing. It goes on so smoothly. Dries immediately so you need to work carefully. I use it to embellish my fluid art. It maybe a bit pricey but it is excellent quality. Just so much fun to work with and much easier to work with than gold leaf sheets. I can’t wait to start my next project. You will not be disappointed with this liquid gold leaf. I just wish they had it in silver. I’d definitely buy it.

I have been obsessed
Ok… I had a bottle of this back in 2019 and I finished it in 2020 during the pandemic. I don’t know if it was a supply chain issue, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. For some reason this paint wasn’t available. I tried like six other gold paints and I’ve been just fondly thinking about this paint not remembering what brand it is feeling like it’s gone forever. But I just found it and within two weeks I’m on my third bottle. I make all kinds of art and this gold paint is my absolute favorite color. When I’m making oddities, it’s amazing. It covers bone so well. The raccoon head that’s on the wall is actually made out of hot glue and this paint covering it is just fabulous. The little jaws are also made out of hot glue. (I make molds of real bone.) I can’t say enough about how amazing this is. It’s literally liquid gold. Make sure you are shaking it and really careful a little goes a long way. But as far as the color just this light gold that’s not brash or fake or annoying. This one is it even in comparison to gold leaf. I have so many projects that this gold paint does phenomenal. It’s great for a beautiful touch on furniture. It’s great for absolutely everything.

Makes things gold!
This paint is perfect for a great “real gold” look. I love it so much and it glides on so smoothly. It will cover most base colors in one coat. It is my go to gold paint. The downsides are it has a strong chemical smell, it typically ruins whatever brush you use, needs to be shaken up and will almost seal to the edge where it becomes very hard to open it again after a while of not using it, also seems to darken over time. However, I think all those downsides are very worth it for the look you can achieve with this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is by far, the BEST gold paint that there is in existence. I researched all kinds of gold paints and decided to go with this one for my project. It is TRUE gold which is frustrating when buying gold paint, because most of the time it ain’t pretty. It’s thicker, and not sheer at all. It’s so fun to push around. I’m an artist and I needed it for my witchy apothecary cabinet I’m painting. It did come kinda leaky out of the packaging upon delivery but I just left it out to dry a few days. I don’t care about that though because this paint is worth it hands down. Some stuff is hard to ship, it’s no ones fault. It is available cheaper at craft stores than on here, I noticed. Make sure you mix it as you go and clean your brushes immediately. The photos do not do it justice. I’ll use this and only this forever 💛

PERFECT! Used on bare wood with amazing results
I've used this amazing paint before, but not on bare wood. So I was skeptical, but I am more than pleased with the results. A little goes a LONG way and it shows up immediately, without really needing more than one coat (depending on your project). For most of my crafts, one coat worked. Highly recommend!

Best buy...actually I have tried many gold paint and powders too before using this. But this one is the best gold effect I have achieved with Plaid gold leafing paint.

The “Plaid Liquid Leaf” Classical Gold, it’s an excellent paint imitating a real gold. The color and the brightness are very impressive, because the paint makes the piece seeming made of a real gold, glimmering such as a gold. This product worth the price that I paid. The only inconvenience with this paint, previously indicated in the advertisement, is that it’s made with solvent, and has a strong odour. It is necessary to use a solvent for clean up the brush. For that I use the Lacquer Thinner. So, is necessary to use this paint in an adequate ventilation room, avoiding to breathe this gas from the paint. Xylene it’s a dangerous chemical product to our health! Take care when using this paint, always using it in an adequate ventilation room, avoiding breathing the gas from it.
