The Crafters Workshop TCW156 Template, 12 x 12 Inches, Cosmic Swirl, Multicolor

I bought this to use for gelli plate printing and it's worked out quite well. The design for stencils have to hit a happy medium between being nicely open work and a definite easily impressed pattern. This stencil manages that very well. And I love spirals. What could be better?

I was trying to use this to apply chalk to my painted interior walls. This failed miserably for my purposes. The chalk goes on well when manually applied. I tried using a water-chalk mixture, but that too was very ineffective. Seemed like the chalk was not getting past the cuts in the stencil, wasn't reaching the wall well.For my own experience using it with chalk, I would give it 2 stars. Considering I only used it for chalk and nothing else, I give it 3 for benefit of the doubt.

I work in mixed media, and have been looking for masks to make my project for a while. I ran across this template, and I knew that I needed it. It was everything I had hoped for, and will be used for years to come. I love this template it is as simple as that! It is 12x12 size, which fits almost all of my projects with ease. It was shipped just as stated with no damage, and I am extremely happy with the transaction.

I'm not gonna lie, the way the picture looks, I thought the swirls would have been the negative space (cutouts)... silly me, but in all honesty, I used this for air brushing the pattern on my torso for an event and I was beyond thrilled with how bold the pattern showed up. All in all, things ended up swell :D

This was a cool little template and I put it to use immediately by painting the underside of a glass top table. It turned out beautifully with multiple colors. This was a clean, exact template that I will use again and again.

Sturdy and flexible. I work in Gelliplate printmaking and love this product. The design element is bold and I use it in conjunction with other stencils, leaves, feathers and textured items.

I've seen this used and know the effect it puts on a project, so I can't wait to use it.

This pattern is absolutely beautiful and you don't need to worry about paint going where its not supposed. very high quality and it seems as though the company actually thought about all the problems that could go wrong with stenciling and made sure it was perfect.I actually used this to airbrush on to fondant cakes and it created such a ooooh ahhh flawless design

Nice design, however it is too big. But that is my fault. Didn't double check the size.

Great big gorgeous stencil! I am going to get so much use out of this for so many projects, either the whole stencil or using parts of it for smaller projects.

Lovely stencil, very sturdy and easy to use. I have used it repeatedly with no tears to bends as I've had with other stencils. Very good price and value for money.

Fantastic for stenciling, texturing with paste . Used in collage work , use parts for a decorative mirror , even a bedroom walll .

Nice pattern; works as advertised. This 12" template can be washed and reused.
