Rannb Ratchet Tap Wrench Adjustable T-Handle Tap Wrench Capacity Range M5-M12

For the price this T-Handle is much better than expected! The crossbar slides smoothly and stays in place. The ratchet mechanism works well and is a nice feature, it makes tapping in tight spaces so much easier. The chuck is smooth and clamps firmly. Also, it has some weight and makes placing and starting the tap much easier. It would be nice if you could use a follower, but with a little modification that can be done. Highly Recommend!

Its a tad sloppy so I dont recommend it for smaller diameter. But for mid range stuff thats not like ultra critical its pretty much what your looking for. If it had just one or two more engagement points to tighten up the mechanism, it would be awesome for the price.

Good quality and affordable price.

I bought a 80-Piece Premium SAE and Metric Tap and Die Set a while back and the handles that came with it are fine but not great, tightening the taps/dies into the handle is not super great. This handle is so much better. Quickly tightens onto the bit and has a ratcheting mode that can be disabled if not needed. The weight is perfect and the process is much much faster with this. Would highly recommend. Note: Read other reviews that talked about the depth not being enough. I'm not sure what taps they're using but works just fine with mine.

Capacity range is advertised as M5 - M12. The chuck was just barely large enough to grasp a tap for a M8 helicoil (granted- larger than a regular M8). The chuck is grabbing only about 1/8" of the end of this tap and is therefore difficult to keep straight in the tool. While this handle/chuck may be ok for smaller size taps, I don't think it could hold M10 - M12 taps.

Much nicer than expected. Chuck loosening/ tightening is very smooth and worked well. Ratcheting mechanism is a nice touch too and also smooth. Very good for the price.

Worked but said for up to 1/2" bits and 1/2" which is what used had to buy another product to replace

I needed to tap the rusty holes for the hitch on my van, and the tight space didn't allow my other tap wrenches to turn. This did the job, though the tap bit came loose repeatedly.
