I sized down for a better fit. - I am 6’0 and 198 lbs. per the size chart, I’d be a size 5 or 6. I initially ordered the 5 thinking I was already going a bit smaller, but I was still swimming in it. The size 4 is perfect, and I don’t have twig legs either. Out of caution I have only washed cold and line-dried, though there still looks to be a tad bit of room in the pants to shrink. The gi top however is snug (but still not tight) as-is and therefore don’t want it to get any smaller. If you are a similar height/weight as me, I’d highly recommend the 4. The pants hit just at the ankle, no need to tailor or roll them up, just be mindful not to shrink. These are a bit warm for summer classes but not too heavy, just an overall solid and quality gi that has kept up with all of the rolls etc. that I throw at it. Highly recommend, just be mindful of sizing. Review: Good value - Im 6'1 at 250lbs. You may want a size larger if you have thick quads, the pants are a bit tight for me. Happy with purchase but next time will go size up.

Great mid-weight gi
I wear this for karate (Matsubayashi) and the fit is great. I love the length and weight of the gi. It’s got weight without being heavy or burdensome for katas and offers a good “snap”. I wore it for my most recent belt test to see how it would hold up under pressure and was not disappointed. I plan to purchase another one in white.

All great!
The weight is medium and its good quality. Also measures provided on the measurement table were almost a perfect fit I'm 1.71m around 75Kgs and size 4 was just fine (I'm a woman so the jacket is still a bit baggy on the shoulders, but it is fine on the sleeves)

Excellent quality!!!
What I like about this product is that fit really good and the texture of material feel supreme definitely I liked. Big thumb's up.

Pants fit oddly on middle aged woman
Let me just preface this review by saying I am brand new to martial arts. I have been taking my son to lessons for a couple years and decided to try it for myself. This is my first uniform. I really like the top of this uniform It is comfortable, doesn’t slip down, and looks perfect with a light t-shirt or tank top underneath, which is all you’d want. However, I can’t wear the pants. There is such a large top area between the groin and the waist, and then the drawstring hits at my widest point. That means while I’m practicing, the pants start slipping... and become difficult to manage as I can’t really get to fix them while keeping the top on. I ended up buying Elastic-waist black scrub pants as a replacement, because as a beginner I am not too worried about the “snap” sound, but I am very concerned about keeping my pants up!

No need to publish this. Item is too large so not fit fit purpose. Alteration not economic.
