I've used this kind of styler for years on my chin length course hair. The brand I've used before (Instyler) heated well for a limited time. This styler has several temp settings and at 400 degrees it definitely curls or straightens my hair. It has not burned my hair. It doesn't catch my hair quite as well as the Instyler did, but my hair is thick enough so that doesn't matter too much. The real test will be if when I need to clean it, I can take the end off and slide the tines out and soak them. I would do that with the Instyler until they made it so the end cap was permanent. Now none of the stylers recommend cleaning this way, but damp q-tips just don't cut it for cleaning. The packaging, including the velveteen sack is superior too. The drawstring sack protects the miracomb and it is easy to insert and remove. The miracomb feels more substantial than the instyler and looks classier. I thought the price was right too. If it lasts longer than my previous instylers (4 at least) then I would rate this with 10 stars. At this time I have no complaints. I've been using it for several months.

This is the third brand of curler/straightener I've owned in the last couple of years. The first one I had, I liked, but the bristles broke off over time and it was super difficult to clean. The second one stopped working after a month (I got a refund). I've now had this for almost three months and I'm very happy with it. First, it heats up super fast (within a minute). The bristles are very strong and the whole brush appears to be well made. It's very easy to clean the hair from it, and although I haven't tried it yet, I *think* the top can be unscrewed and the bristles removed for cleaning if needed. I also have had no problems with tangling. Some of the complaints about his are that the controls are right there on the handle and can sometimes get pushed accidentally. So far I have not had that problem, and I use this every day, usually multiple times a day. My hair is curly and very fine and I use this after blow drying (and partial straightening) for straightening/smoothing, and then adding in controlled curl. I don't think I would recommend this if you're looking for super straight hair, just based on its shape, but for me, it's perfect. Hoping it lasts a long time. Will update this review if it doesn't.

The teeth in this hot comb are not flexible and it does state this on the product page. I am still enjoying it because although not flexible it does a good job curling my bob hairstyle. It heats up relatively quickly and is easy to handle.

My friend purchased a $200 hot brush and it was great, but I wanted a less expensive version. This hot brush has not disappointed! Multiple heat settings and the plastic bristles are long enough to catch and hold the hair. The trick is to not start wrapping the hair too close to the scalp and then don't overlap the hair when wrapping around the wand. My hair has not tangled once and produces nice, soft curls. I have wavy/light curly hair and length is past my shoulders. My friend who has short hair says this Miracomb hot brush actually catches her short hair better than her fancy expensive version. Zero complaints and happy with this purchase.

My hair is too coarse for this product. I have to run it thru like 5 times for it to do anything. If you have curly hair this may not be for you.

This the best curling product. I can curl my hair in any style, it is very easy to use, heats up fast, has multiple heat settings. I just LOVVVVE this!!! Also because it is GREAT for the price and I don’t need a ton of different attachments and pay loads of money. It has a very nice velour case too! The curls are gorgeous and never fall out. I use a light hair oil, but still, what a great product! I am really enjoying using it and have been everyday since I got it.

I have long blonde hair and as I'm getting older, my hair has become quite kinky. I can slide the miracomb through my hair to smooth and calm the frizzies down a bit and then use it as a curling iron to make long ringlets that I let cool down and then I take my hands and sort of make the motion as though I'm shampooing my hair. The curls loosen and look natural. I don't even run a brush through it after, and the curls last all day. I had a Calista tool for years and the teeth broke off continuously. That product can't even come close to the quality of the miracomb. I can't tell you how pleased I am to have discovered this tool, especially when the texture of my hair started changing with age. It's exactly what I needed to calm the frizzies. I highly recommend this product!

I love this amazing styling tool. I have fine straight hair. I use this for my quick touch ups. and after I wash my hair. must use moose and hair spray but it get the job done and I can hold my hand right on this brush even on the highest temperature. does not even tangle in my ultra straight hair. its good!!!
