All metal! I expected plastic. This vise is solid and sturdy, holds PC boards securely and is easily adjusted. Too bad they didn’t make the uprights (stanchions) mirror images, so that the adjustment knobs would be on the same side. Otherwise, a remarkably nice product.

I really like this stand. It’s sturdy and feels like it will last for years. I would have rated it five stars, but the locking screws don’t hold tight enough. Since they thread into plastic uprights, you can only tighten them by hand, which allows the circuit board to spin with even slight pressure from a soldering tip or meter lead. This also lets the strong spring-loaded board holder push the uprights open, and the screws can’t stop it. Replacing them with sharp-tipped locking screws would greatly improve the design and overall usability.

I needed a simple solution to pushing PCB's around my workstation and this is exactly what I needed. The adjustments and shape make this holder very versatile I can hold almost any size PCB in any orientation to do the SMD work I've been needing this for. I used to have issues pushing the PCB around my tabletop chasing the solder trying to keep the heat right and now I don't have to worry about that anymore since the base has rubber feet that keep it from sliding around. Even the little arms that hold the sides of a PCB have different slots in them so you'll never run into an issue of a PCB not fitting. Well worth the cost the value is excellent the design is great and material quality looks like it'll last forever. I'd buy again if needed.

This device works great for any size Pcbs, but is especially useful for large ones. It is adjustable for length and can be flipped to turn the PCB upside down for soldering components. The spring loaded clamps hold things stable.

Absolutely a piece of JUNK, Totally Useless. Get PC board in place really tight start to diagnose or solder ... it moves! If you love to be aggravated, then this your product.
