Lonely Planet China (Travel Guide) Paperback – 1 May 2015

Well to tell you frankly, lonely Planet China has helped immensely while I had been working in China from 2009 on wards,it gives a very elaborate details about lot of things be it like accommodation or train or air fare.But the real problems are now creeping up,this book requires to up date the current changes occurring in various places in China, question is how to update it too frequently.By the time the book comes out with the new edition, some thing or the other might have changed in the prevailing scenario.I had read all editions of book since 2010,but I feel this book requires to cut down its overall weight to make it more handy or tourist friendly.Some one has rightly pointed out that this book only gives the rosy picture of China, rather than writing honestly about the prevailing circumstances in the country.I am sure the publisher will not appreciate to get this book banned in China, by writing 100% correctly about the demography and tourism.I will recommend readers to visit Wikipedia or Wiki travels to get more up dates about the place or happening etc.By the way it's also not flawless.Choice rest on readers & of course I believe more on local friends out in China to explain these things elaborately.
